Victorinox Swiss Classic Set with Peeler, 3 Pieces Paring Knife, Set of 3, Black, 6.7113.31

Great little kitchen set at a good price. All three items just work! They knives are sharp and so is the little peeler. I find myself using it more than my larger ones. I also stick the knives in the dishwasher (blade down) and they come out fine.

The sharpness and lightweight design make these knives a great choice for any home cook.

Our magnetic wall rack for our knives broke and before I realized my two smallest knives were still missing, the recycling bin it fell into had already been emptied and long gone. So there went my college graduation gifts from 20 years ago. I went to replace the two knives (both Wusthof) and stopped short when I saw it would cost nearly $300 to replace two small paring knives. Did a little research and found ATK had ranked these cheap knives as the best buy. Figured I would be out less than $20 if they would suffice. The peeler is a throwaway for me - I really did not need one and prefer a different style. But the serrated and straight-edge paring knives are amazingly sharp and easy to handle. I have shopped hard and soft veggies, just to test their range, plus we used them for our thick ribeye steak dinner. Like a hot knife through butter! They are cheap though - meaning, plastic handles instead of my usual wood and steel preferences. The plastic is a little slippery when wet, but not enough to change my grip while cutting. I will re-review if they dull quickly or any other issues, but for now I am thrilled after about 3 weeks of use on all types of food.

I like it. I bought it many times. I also recommended to my friends and family. Everyone is satisfied with the product. The peeler can easily peeler tomato skin. It is just amazing.

Cuts smoothly, and I've been using it every day for a few years. The quality is great. It also has a firm grip and fits into any size of hand. Functionality-wise is the same.

This is an easy review. I've never used a peeler this efficient for sweet potatoes etc. Just incredible how fast you can peel with this peeler. Same for the knives. It was day and night switching to these from my old dull knives. It's been about a year and the smaller straight edge pairing knife is now dull from use. Debating sharpening or just getting another one. If the cost is comparable, I'll just get another one. Great value for what you get here and I love the red in contrast to the usual black for knives. This is simply a no-brainer.
