This book is so wonderful at teaching young kids about the ways in which other kids live around the U.S. I love seeing my son's face light up when he has something in common with a kid from across the country. Makes us feel more connected. Highly recommend

My 9-year-old is obsessed with this book. I love that there is a map of the US in the intro. My daughter is always asking me how far away places are and has no concept of geography, so it's perfect to flip back to the map to see where these places are in relation to where we live. Such a great book with SO much content and beautiful illustrations and design.

Matt is such a great illustrator! Its a joy to hold this book and look through it not only for little kids who are curious about their world but for adults too. Its a wonderful survey and very interesting. Keep making amazing informative childrens' books!

This is a nice way for kids to learn what other kids like them do in other parts of the country

The words and images are so compelling and captivating. What a beautiful showcase of the vastness and diversity of the USA, and of the inherent similarity of all kids and families. This is a book I plan to keep in my permanent home library, and one that I’d love to gift to every friend. I also love the previous book by the same author and illustrator and can’t wait to see what they create next!
