EDIT: It took a day but the fragrance did finally go beyond the tree branches. Actually had to take three of them out as it got stronger than I wanted. So - good choice!EARLIER: I hung 6 of these on the tree and while they smell great out of the package, the smell doesn't permeate into the room. You have to be within 2 inches to get the scent. Not worthwhile if you're looking to get real tree smell on your fake tree.

I cannot believe how much these scented sticks smell like a real Christmas tree! I hung one on an artificial Christmas tree and now the tree smells like the real thing - makes all the difference as far as getting the Christmas spirit. I have a fairly long living room, with the tree at one end, and I can clearly smell it at the other end. It's been about one week or so since I put the first stick on the tree and I think I will put on a 2nd stick to revive the scent. Greatly surpassed my expectations. I plan on making these scented sticks a permanent part of my Christmas decorating.

Christmas tree 🎄 smelled musty from being in storage, these worked well, just wear gloves when handling, it’s hard to get the smell off ur hands if u touch them with bare hands.

These are strong. We cut one stick in half to place it in the tree. It also doesn't smell like a fresh pine tree. It smells good, just not quite the same as a Scotch Pine Christmas tree. These will last us for several years.

I’ve been hanging these scentacles on my artificial tree for years and really enjoyed the smell. This year I ordered these online and have to say they are not the same. The brand is the same, but the product is different. Typically the scent of these sticks would last well beyond the holidays. They smelled nice the first week but now you can barely notice them,I might add they have only been only tree for less than 2 weeks. Also noticed right out of the package the scent was not nearly as strong as they have been in years passed.

Smells wonderful

I got my first fake Christmas tree this year, but I missed the pine smell in the house. I bought these thinking they would be somewhat similar. They smelled really strong, so I only hung up half of them. They smelled like an air freshener and I started sneezing whenever I was by the tree. I ended up taking them down and throwing them away. I am not sure if I did not pay close enough attention to the listing, for if you are trying to get that Christmas smell in your house, you should keep looking.- It does come in a nice case with hooks to hang it on the tree. So that was nice.

It’s really strong but in a good way. We decided after Christmas to keep a couple hidden around the house but we found out the hard way. When they say don’t lay on furniture they mean it.
