Perfect !
I just had to share my thoughts on this device. I have already bought a pair of Xreal Air 2 last week, and now with this device it allows me to use my iPhone almost wirelessly with Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connection.I have experienced this product today in the morning, and when using the beam with my iphone/laptop it works great with YouTube videos, casting the screen. I am also able to use additional devices with my Xreal glasses with a Bluetooth/ wifi connection. The beam also has additional screen/viewing option, such as smooth follow/body anchor/side view. You also are able to adjust the size of your screen.Overall, I'm a fan of Xreal, if you're listening, I highly recommend you buy the Xreal Air 2 Pro. With the support of Xreal Beam, you will experience the happiness of big screen that you never had before!

Strange device but works ok
This was a difficult decision as I considered returning it but I'm glad I decided to keep it. The software is terrible and the picture quality was awful. The wireless streaming is quite laggy and plugging my phone into it just reduced the picture quality! (I hear you asking, why did you keep it?). If you learn how to sideload apps the the device starts to get more interesting. After putting a better version of netflix and Amazon into it the image quality was greatly improved. Using this means that you can free up your phone and you get the benefit of being able to anchor the screen and adjust it. It was brilliant to get the Sky Go app running on it as I can watch live TV. It can be sluggish when you adjust the volume but it's fine when it's playing. It gets a bit too warm for my liking and could be a bit noisy - not that noticeable for me. Battery life is less than advertised but you can charge it while using it - this was a thing that annoyed me with my phone before I got it as a phone only has one USB C port. I think it's probably slightly under spec for what it needs to be but hopefully they will resolve the software issues which may help.

Unfortunately not usable
I used the beam together with xreal air 2.Easy to but it’s limited and the overall experience is not satisfactory.I will give a detailed description of my experience.First ImpressionsThe packaging and the unboxing experience feels nice, like a premium product but that’s it.The glasses feel like oversized plastic glasses, light but chunky. If you are used to wear glasses could be ok but if not you suddenly experience where a frame is in front of your eyes with 2 sets of lenses. From a viewing experience means that you cannot enjoy a normal view area with the glasses “off”, and the viewing area is quite small inside the glasses when “on”.Windows pcusb-c cable direct connection worked out of the box for extended or mirrored monitor. With the beam you can connected as a wireless display. The whole screen is difficult to see, corners are quite blurry and borders have some kind of glare. After installing the nebula app the only screen mode was extended mode.Trying to create a virtual screen sometimes would get the screen on the glasses to black with a loading windows circle until the app is closed. The quality with more than one screen is not good and glitchy. The text whenever you move your head gets blurry.MacGlasses mirror the laptop screen out of the box with usb-cRunning the app and connecting the glasses starts changing the resolution of the screen multiple times and tries to update glasses.Update failed multiple times.Nebula app quit unexpectedly multiple times. After a while I managed to get the screens to appear on the glasses. The experience was kind of ok besides the fact that monitors drift around or freeze anchored randomly. If it wasn’t for the quirks it could be used as a really nice on the go setup, but not yet…Ipad proIt works a screen directly with usb-c out of the box as an external monitorAirplay trough beam works as an external monitorAirplay with apple TV-didn’t workYoutube casts only audioAirplay cast works alright with youtube even after locking screenBeam charged from ipad…Iphone 12 miniAirplay screen works as a monitor until screen lockedCast applet tv says its streaming but in glasses only beam interface is showingAndroidYoutube would only cast audioNebula App was not supported for the last android version my backup phone supports (12)BeamAfter going through the initial setup, the only apps available are netflix and amazon prime.I tried to login with my amazon prime account but it wouldn’t sing in and but after 10m waiting it ended up login in.The quality was not good and there was some lag, until at some point I got “prime isn’t responding anymore” error message.I don’t have Netflix, so I can’t review the experienceConnecting the glasses to the beam triggers update, and connecting the glasses to the pc or mac with nebula triggers another update and this keeps happening every time you switch between the pc/mac and the beam
