False Positive

I got a strong positive for chlamydia (the test line was stronger than the control line). I followed the instructions carefully. The next day I went to a Sexual Health clinic and they took additional tests (qPCR), and everything came back negative... It must have been a false positive because the accuracy of the qPCR test is much higher. This false positive test put me through a lot of emotional distress and I had two sleepless nights before my other results came back all clear.If you suspect you have chlamydia or any other STI go to a sexual health clinic and get tested instead.
