Works well!
I don’t have a lot of white hair but enough that it’s noticeable. I don’t like to pull my white hair because I read there was a research study done with mice recently that showed pulling white hair really does cause more white hair to come in . I’ve tried several different cover ups, and this one works best and is easiest to use. It lasts all day. Has never rubbed off on my pillow. It works well on white hair that is maybe a couple inches long at most; it’s difficult to use on very long white hair. With this stick, I can cover up my roots for a few months until the white part gets too long to the point that this stuff is difficult to use on it. Picture is of hair with and without the cover up.

Quick fix that really works
This root touch-up stick is a lifesaver between salon visits. The angled tip makes it super easy to apply right where it’s needed, and the color blends in seamlessly without looking chalky or waxy. It stays put until you wash it out, so there’s no mess or transfer during the day. I also like that it’s free of ammonia and sulfates, which makes it feel gentler on hair. Perfect for quick gray coverage without the hassle of constant coloring.

Decent Root Touch-up
This gray touch-up marker is almost what I've been searching for to match the ease of a Sharpie. I decided to get an actual hair marker because I'm unsure whether using a brown Sharpie on my roots long-term is advisable. This hair marker works pretty well and is small enough to keep in my bag for errant grays. It's easy to apply to the hair closest to your face and part. It skips a bit, and is not as convenient to use on the back of the part without assistance. I won't repurchase as I truly want to find a hair marker that releases color quickly and smoothly. Fortunately, this marker has a great little blending sponge on the end to smooth color naturally into the gray areas without looking gloppy or flakey, and the dark brown color blends seamlessly into my roots as well. It's very decent overall.

A godsend
Love these gray color quick sticks, I use 2 to 3 colors as I have frosted brunette hair, and they cover grey perfectly and no one ever knows there is gray around my facial area. Just draw the stripes in around my face = it blends wonderfully.Update: Thought I'd post photos showing these Gray Away Color sticks are so easy and impressive, and the first photo is a winter photo, I live in the Florida Keys, and the topknot photo just shows a little of my back underneath brunette hair as most of it is my blonde frosting heavier around the face in the summer. I do brush on a Roux Fanciful "Spun Sand" temporary rinse, purchased from Amazon and I'll post this there too) - but it makes the hair ALL one/same color which does not look natural compared to the rest of my hair needing me to apply my Gray Away streaks to match the rest of my hair and it's super easy (doesn't even take 5 minutes!), like hand coloring, and use 3 colors: Black to dark brown; Light brown (which is a little reddish) and Lightest Brown/Medium Blonde, the latter of which I use to cover most of the starting point hair where the gray hair is just emerging from the follicle at the nearest edge to the face. I'll try to remember to take a photo of my gray starting point, because I've got a good 1 1/2" - 2" of SOLID WHITE hair at my facial hairline that just disappears with these products - as you can see in the two photos.Update: Added photo progression in addition to normal hairstyle photo, topknot photo with Spun Sand Fanciful base and color sticks applied, gray hair starting point, just Spun Sand rinse applied, final photo current hair with gray treatment complete

The sponge end was good for one day. The other end works fine.
This does cover your gray. However, the sponge end of it stopped working after one day. I think that whatever is inside that end dried up. The other end, which is more like a crayon consistency works fine.

I swear by this stuff!
I’m 52 so them greys are poppin’.. especially where my hair parts. This is great for covering up my part in between hair appointments.. I put it on after showering while my hair is wet and then blend a little with my fingers.. works great. Can’t tell I’m using it.

Works great
I originally was going to return this but decided to give it a few more tries and I'm glad I did. I use this when my grey streak is starting to show that's at the very front and noticeable when my roots grow out. I just dab it on and it does the trick. Why I decided to keep it? Because it actually lasts all day and doesn't transfer. The first time I tried it I accidentally touched it and my fingers showed a little color transfer and I hated that but that was right after putting it on. It seems to dry down and doesn't transfer after a few hours. It feels lightweight. I used to use hair powder and while it made the grey a little less visible, the powder would just disappear after 1 or 2 hours no matter how much I put on and the color was never dark enough. This is a step up and exactly what I need between getting my hair colored. This isn't meant in place of actual hair color that lasts in your hair days which is what some reviewers seem to be expecting and disappointed about. This is very much a touch up and go product so if you are expecting this to cover all your roots and grey hairs and last for more than 2 days, this is not that. But this honestly stays in my hair for longer than a day which surprised me.
