If your phone case has two little holes on the side, that's where the lanyard loops through. If no holes, that means your phone case can't use this kind of lanyard. However, I've seen lanyards on here where it attaches to the inside of the case by the charging area so you should search for those. Hope this helps.

This are for small things, like a key or I use them for my USB thomb drive. Take the tip and passit through the hole of the item you want to hold with open the tip and take the back end of the thicker park and pass it throu the black tip of the strap all the way till the end and thats how is hold your item.
