LEZYNE Dual Valve Alternative Bicycle Pump Head, Presta, Schrader, and Dunlop Compatible, for High-Pressure Tire Floor Pumps

I got a Lezyne pump a couple of years ago. I like the pump itself, but the head that came with the pump was a great source of frustration. It was hard to get onto some Presta valves, and did not stay on well. Shrader valves, which I have a few of in my garage on my kids' bikes, were even worse. The default chuck had to be threaded onto the valve, and it does not thread easily, making it hard to get it on enough to open the valve. I bought the ABS-1 pro head. It requires threading onto both Presta and Shrader, but it does thread on more easily, and is relatively quick to switch. The problem comes with Presta valves with removable valve cores. The gasket at the mouth of the chuck provides sufficient friction to unthread some removable valve cores, resulting in the freshly inflated tire deflating. I eventually bought this head. Is is by far the easiest of the three to use, especially for situations that require frequent switching between Presta and Shrader. Oddly this head seems more budget-oriented and is thus made of plastic rather than metal like the other two heads. If Lezyne made a nice metal one I'd consider buying it. As it is, I recommend this head as the default for all Lezyne pumps, even though it's still not the best head I've ever used. Lezyne makes some really nice pumps, but seems to have dropped the ball a bit on head design, in my opinion.

Used this to bring a leaky 10-year old Cutter Fuse floor pump back to life instead of binning it for lack of parts support. The only downside is the fastener nut anticipates a thinner hose, so I had to bore it out a bit with a rotary tool. Fortunately (and I'm sure this is by coincidence) the correct bore diameter is molded into the nut, so it was quick and easy to get a clean circle. So far so good, no leaks.

For bikes this is great no complaints. Will not work on all cars due to the bulky head. Some car wheels have short stems witb hub caps or wheel designs that prevents a good connection.

Both valves connect perfectly. Much easier to use and faster than the screw connector that came with the pump.

It works fine but i had to drill it out to fit my hose on a different brand pump.

The plastic lever on the pump head of the new floor pump I purchase broke on the first attempt to tighten the pump head onto the tube stem. At that time I believed that this left my pump as purely a throw away.So, I went on Amazon to look for a floor pump which either had a metal pump head or a metal lever. During this search I came upon replaceable pump heads! Most of the ones displayed offered pump heads with plastic levels, but as I continued the search I came upon the "LEZYNE (never heard of them) Dual Valve Bicycle Pump head" and it comes with a metal lever.It installs super easy onto the tubing from the pump and the metal lever didn't snap off on several test pumps. So..; I'm now I'm really "Pumped" about the purchase of the"LEZYNE Dual Valve Bicycle Pump head"

I bought this as a replacement for the dual sided screw on head that came with my Lezyne pump thinking it would be easier to use. I was misled.The Schrader side of the valve was a total waste. It takes a great deal of force to get it on the valve and sealed. It's worthless if the tube is new and has no air in it because it pushes the valve into the tire. In general it's hit and miss.I called customer service and they acknowledged the issue and offered nothing but a lack of concern or empathy. "We're aware of the issue".I had to reinstall the metal had that came with the pump in order to make my pump work like it should again.Do not buy this.

The original screw on piece wouldn't work on one particularly stubborn presta valve. This one works fine on it.

After struggling with three in like valves where o rings always broke and screwing on was a faff. This is brilliant Advise alezane to retire the in line screw chucks

Di per se funziona bene, ma non è compatibile con le camere d'aria Tubolito, che sono prive di filetto. A volte, con molta fatica, si riesce a gonfiare un pochino, ma il raccordo scivola rapidamente via sulla superfice plastificata della valvola Tubolito (la parte arancione per capirci), finendo per aggrapparsi appena sopra il tappo valvola, e con così poca valvola inserita nel raccordo questo si riesce a muovere fuori asse, andando a bloccare il movimento del tappino, rendendo impossibile il gonfiaggio.

Encaja en los dos tipos de válvula perfectamente.
