Cozy, warm feet in winter
Hardwood floors and west-facing windows do not make for warm winter mornings. I stole my sister's RockDoves that she left at my house and after two weeks of solid wear, ordered my own, like a good person. What makes these special is their coziness,.THE GOODRockDove created a really good slipper all around. The grippy sole keeps good tread on hardwood floors, and similarly slippery surfaces like tile or vinyl plank. Soft inner soles and well-constructed "fur" conform comfortably to feet without going flat or staying too stiff, finding a comfortable variable in between. The nice rounded toebox supports good foot health by letting you spread your digits out and curl them while wearing some pretty thick socks. I get no pinching, which is essential even for someone like me with a narrow, long foot. The "fur" exterior isn't fleece, fluffy, or fuzzy, but something more like a particularly opulent pup's coat, and I say that with all love! Dense, nubbly coils gives a really pleasant texture that contributes to the softness without losing colour or softness. My sister's had and worn hers incessantly for over 18 months, and hers still look pretty much new. The copper-cinnamon colour is really very appealing. These are soft, comfy slippers. They keep my feet warm (not hot) and cozy without being sweaty or heavy.THE MEH:Though my sis and I wear the same size, the new slippers definitely run narrower when new. I've had to squish my feet in there and really wiggle my foot around to make room, especially if wearing socks. My feet are naturally narrow, so I'll point out that you might need to use a good cedar shoe tree if you don't wear your slippers much. They retain their shape beautifully though,

Comfortable but Wide (So, a normal slipper)
I wear a 9 in men's and a 10.5 in women's U.S. sizes and bought these in a (women's?) XL. I have narrow feet and brand new with socks on, these were still wide for me. I think even if I went down a size they would be snug length-wise but stretch quick enough, though they would still be wider than I'd like. I think most larger women's footwear is generally wider as there is an assumption of big AND tall. That said, they have a nice cushion and a real slipper sole on the bottom that is NOT fabric but a more durable, flexible material somewhere between rubber & plastic. (Can't think of the word right now.) The inner sole has some cushion and they aren't full of hot fleece lining, just reasonable comfort. They seem like a fair price for the product and I would recommend them for anyone with wide feet, maybe even normal width, I just have a narrow heel. They fit very similar to my men's 9 fleece lined slippers that are well worn in. So, if you have an average or wide foot, want to wear socks or have a wider foot these are probably great. If they're snug, I think they'll stretch and break-in to fit well. They seem very well made. The stitching appears to be very secure. They came in a box making them an attractive gift & easy to wrap. I'd say 5 stars if they had a narrow width but I don't think anyone makes such a thing. Bottom line is that I would recommend them.

Excellent House Slippers
I really like these slippers! They keep your feet warm but not too hot. They are durable and lightweight. Whenever I catch them on sale, I buy another pair. Right now I have 3 pairs in my closet. They are very comfortable and I don’t find myself slipping in these.

The Best “Slipper-Socks” I’ve Found!!
I LOVE these slippers!! My feet are ALWAYS cold—I wear 2 pairs of socks plus slippers in the summer, and three pairs of socks, at least one layer wool, plus slippers in the winter. For years, I have been buying a different type of “slipper socks”, that look similar to these on the upper part, but have a slightly rough material on the bottom, with “anti-skid dots”. They are comfy, but the bottoms wear out, developing holes, after a while. A few years ago, that company changed the bottom material, and they now wear out even sooner—and cost more, of course. I have regular slippers for when it’s very cold, but they are not really comfortable to wear all day around the house. I thought I’d give these a try as an alternative to the ones I kept having to replace, & around Christmas, found them on sale for the same price I was paying for the other (inferior) type. I have been so happily pleased with these! They have an actual sole on the bottom, and they are still super comfy. I love that I can walk outside with them on without a problem, to put out the trash, check mail, etc. The other type could not be worn outside. Since I knew I would be wearing multiple layers of socks with these, I sized up about one & a half size larger than my regular shoe size, and that works perfectly. I was a little worried that the edges of the material on the sides might overlap around the edge of the sole, wearing them out quicker, but they do not. After a few days of wear, they get a little stretched out, but nothing bad or dangerous to wear, plus: they can be washed! Washing tightens them back up. You usually can’t wash most regular slippers. I am disabled, and at home almost all the time, except for doctor appointments, so most days, I wear them all day. I don’t wear them to bed, as they are not as comfortable to sleep in, plus I do not want to wear anything I may have worn outside or in the garage, etc, to bed, so I switch to my old slipper socks for sleeping. They also have a bit of memory foam in the foot bed, which is more comfortable than other slipper socks. There is not really any arch support, but I was not expecting (or really wanting) any. I also feel that they keep my feet warmer than my old type slipper socks, but not so warm my feet get hot and sweat. I loved the first pair I got so much, I ordered 5 more! Highly recommended.

Run small
Tight fit can’t wear comfortably! Sizes seem smaller than they should be. Love the brand and are very comfy when sizes are correct but not these!
