These are amazing !Great way to light up any area that is darker and you don't want to put in electrics .Very easy to set up.Set it up in a dark area so the light can do its "5second -2second -then dark mode thing"I set my up when the rooms I wanted them in had gone dark so I could set it all up easily.The lights are super bright , but not to bright that it hurts your eyes .It picks you up from a fair way away , so that's a bonus .They are a great design where , once it is in place , you just have to slide the front off to change the batteries and it fits in any space .The don't need charging because they use AAA batteries .I found these to function well and do what they say in the description

Really good product. Easy to install and easy to change batteries. Used in my very dark cupboard under the stairs and put 2 in there which gives plenty of light. Excellent value for money. Very happy and would highly recommend.

We purchased these for a large walk-in larder unit we had fitted, easy to fit and do the job we wanted, the sensor adjustment angle could better but a minor point, but the fixing bracket is a little flimsy and you must make sure you fit it the correct way up as it would hold the weight of the light.

Used to light landing at night so as not to turn on lights disturbing otherstime on about right to navigate drop of 2 steps at top of stairs

Absolutely brilliant…. So glad I bought these and definitely will buy more. They react immediately when someone is near.

Purchased back in January 2024. Good product when it works but certainly not the most reliable. First unit died within 3 months of use and the motion sensor in the second unit acted up after 4 rendering that one also useless. Third one is going strong for now. Also important to note that investing in a bunch of rechargeable batteries would be wise as depending on use case you may find yourself having to replace/recharge batteries as much as every 2-3 weeks like I do.

This review is specifically for "STAR-SPANGLED 7 inch Motion Sensor Lights Indoor, High CRI Stick on Lights Battery Powered" which came in a pack of three. (Amazon mixes their product reviews so I'll be clear to avoid tainting other products)On opening this box of three motion sensor lights it was fairly clear to me that the product was well into the 'cheap and nasty' category. The materials felt cheap, the build felt shaky and the backplate one needs to remove to install batteries fitted very poorly on all three lights. That's okay - I'm aware of the 'you get what you pay for' idiom, and I chose cheap because my planned usage for these was minimal.However, installing the batteries made it clear just HOW tacky these lights are. The first light lit up fine (I thought) then the second lit up and was noticeably brighter than the first......and the third simply didn't light up at all. In the 30 seconds it took for me to install batteries in light No.3, light no.2 (the nice bright one) turned off. Okay...it's a motion sensor light and I didn't move it so it's meant to turn off, right? Hm no. It transpires that light No1, the dim one, is the only one actually working as described. No.2 had not 'switched' off - it had died. No amount of waving at it or turning somersaults in front of it (in light or dark conditions) and no amount of changing batteries would revive it. I tested three different unused sets, including those I had put into No.1 since they were proven ok. Then, just in case I had installed a bad batch of batteries I also opened a second new pack of a different make and tried with those. Both lights No.2 and No.3 were just dead, deceased, demised, they were no more, These, sir, are deader than the ex-parrot. Fortunately, I had placed light No. 1 where I needed it most using the adhesive stickers - UNfortunately this does also mean that I'm unable to return the pack as a whole in its original condition for refund. Ah, well...as lessons go, 17 quid is not the most expensive one I've had. Instead of three bright, motion sensitive lights, I have ONE quite dim working unit. It is just about the worst result I've ever had buying cheap from Amazon though...please do be aware, and do test each light before installing them so you can return them if needed and avoid the monetary loss.
