Lo he amado
Es el primer cuchillo de alta calidad que compro y realmente me parece increible. Soy aficionado a la cocina y realmente le he sacado un muy buen provecho: es cómodo, pesado, bastante afilado inicialmente y sin mencionar su increíble aspecto.

My first professional chef knife, I didn't know what I was missing.
I was lured in by those recent Viking-like clever knifes, but after researching, smart marketing and flashy knifes don't equate to a high-quality knife. I know a $100+ knife would likely be superior, but this knife exceeded all my expectations. My first use was cutting Carne Asada steaks for a fajita dish, it cut through the meat like butter, one swipe of the blade through roughly an inch thick cut of meat. I also bought this to help me process chickens. It is essential to have a sharp knife for humanly bleeding out the bird with minimal stress to both me and the animal. I just hope when the day comes to re-sharpen this blade with my Arkansas stone that I can preserve the sharpness it has today. Great workmanship at a great price. Thank you.

A knife worth any chef
What a wonderful knife for the kitchen. Cuts thru tomato's like butter. The dicing of vegetables is amazing. I don't know why I waited so long to put this in my kitchen. The quality is outstanding and the price was amazing. I recommend this for any kitchen

The weight feels unbalanced
It's a nice looking knife, and cuts well, but it just doesn't feel right in the hand. It's not a light knife by any stretch of the imagination, and doesn't have good balance when cutting.

Not Made in Japan, However...
First thing to know is that despite the seemingly Japanese name, style, and motif, this is a Chinese made knife. However, I don't say this to bag on the Chinese or their manufacturing, It's just that they do not and generally cannot treat their steel the same way the Germans, Japanese, and Americans can. What this means to you and I is how sharp can I get this blade, and how long will it keep an edge? That remains to be seen, as I can tell it will be a while before I sharpen it.The design caught my eye, and for $50, what the heck - here's the next "however" - Amazon was running a lightning deal when I logged in tonight for nearly half off some of this product line on this brand . I snapped up the Nakiri Knife faster than a mutant African Giant Rock Frog snares a Volkswagon (it's wild to watch)!I liked the balance of this knife in my hand, and out of the well-packed box, it made short work of a tomato with precision. I used it on produce, which is what the Nakiri Knife is for, I can only imagine what this one would do on meats.Update to follow when it comes time to sharpen.
