Kylie is a pop icon for a reason, and she just keeps getting better! You can't stay in a bad mood if you play this album at high volume! Not a dull song on the album! Pop/dance euphoria that you won't be able to get out of your head!

Catchy, well-crafted dance pop
Kylie continues her string of top-notch late-career albums. This one has a modern production with strong 80s/90s sensibilities. Kylie sounds great! Bravo!

I love Kylie ❤️
This is easily one of the best Kylie Minogue's albums, if not the best! I can't even choose one favorite: 'Vegas High', 'Hold On To Now', 'Story', 'Just Imagine', 'Somebody To Love', 'You Still Get Me High' and 'Things We Do For Love'. Those are among the strongest tracks of the album; but you can't ignore the amazing collaboration with Oliver Heldens '10 out of 10', which pretty much opened the door to this amazing DJ I've never heard from before. Not to mention, Kylie has done hundreds of collaborations with artists who otherwise would've been unknown, and then the collaborations she did with huge personalities like: Gloria Gaynor, Enrique Iglesias, Gente De Zona, Dua Lipa, Years and Years and Nick Cave, just to mention the very few that come to my mind right now.Kylie Minogue is a Diva, a Queen, an icon and the image of class, strength and determination. Get this amazing album if you haven't and check her other work: Disco, Light Years, Fever, Aphrodite and Golden to name a few!!

Good album
This was a enjoyable album overall. There were a couple of tracks I wasn't crazy about but still nothing I would skip. That being said overall I felt like Padam and to a lesser extent Tension were just so much better than the rest of the album.I picked up the Deluxe edition because I'm a physical media collector and I love to have the extra tracks as well as any photo/media books. As far as the extra tracks they were ok. I'd say Love Train was the weakest for me and Somebody to Love was the best of the three. The media book itself on the other hand was extremely disappointing. It was just a few pages of lyrics for all the tracks. There were only two photos of Kyle and one I would barely consider a photo. The CD was also really scratched up as well which is sadly typical for CD loosely held in cardboard. Had lots of skipping issues with the second track. But after cleaning it with a micro cloth it seemed to play ok after, hopefully it stays that way on a second listen of the album.Overall I'd suggest saving some money and just getting the standard edition of the album unless you really must have those extra tracks. Because for the media book it's not worth it at all.Standout tracks for me were Padam which is above and beyond the best of the album. Followed by of course the title track Tension. One other for me was the track Story. I really liked this one a lot. Something about the chorus reminded me of another song that I can't quite put my finger on but I liked it a lot.

Who Would Have Thought...
Who in 1988 would have thought that Kylie would still be around in 2023, much less releasing stellar albums? Over the last few decades Ms. Minogue has proven herself to be a risk taker and unafraid to alter the direction of her music, producing strong work that never seems to get its critical due. This is album #16 and her music is as strong as ever. The material on this album is (for the most part) stellar, and there are no missteps, save perhaps for the brevity of some of the best tracks. It's fun, it's dance-pop, and a nice antidote to the current musical climate with it's chart stagnation.
