Brilliant trailor now ridden a lot. Holds 2x lithium ion batteries, tools, chargers and has a seat post attached @ rear!
This is an excellent piece of kit. It's well finished, constructed robustly, all bushing seems tight and firm. As yet not road tested. Suspension unit is quite firm, but adjustable. I will update after road test. Bag is strong and stitched well and huge!Very happy so far (and apparently it looks awesome according to my young neighbours!Update 18 FebruaryHaving now road tested this trailer extensively, loaded with:4 x 3.7kg batteries (lead acid)Chain lockWaterproof box for battsTools and sparesTentSleeping backRation packClothesI can honestly say this is an excellent trailer fit for purpose and handles well with lord knows what weight!I use 2 x simple cable locks to secondarily attach the trailer in case of de-couplings!It's a little awkward when pushing, manouvering at very low speeds but it handles beautifully at electric bike cruising speeds (off road trails). My brother in law did get a speed wobble at 'ludicrous speed' but he is fully fit and 20 years younger than me and properly cycles (I'm 44 and after a motorbike crash not quite as strong!).Awesome piece of kit that gets many comments and questions.Hope this update helps.

Cheap, sturdy trailer - easy to assemble, rides well AND YOU CAN FIT IT TO SOLID AXLE BIKES
***Update 25th July 2019*** -> still going strong after many miles now and it's still paying for itself in petrol saved. Moved a portable air conditioning unit across town yesterday, lashed to the trailer. See photo :)***End Update***This is an honest, customer review and not some paid review on behalf of the company etc.Usual service from Amazon Prime, ordered late in the evening and arrived the next day.Trailer is easy to assemble - however the instructions that came with it were in French only and had a 6 step assembly guide where step 2-3 section was missing and step 4-5 appeared twice. The assembly instructions feature photos as opposed to drawn diagrams which are black and white and quite dark so not great to follow. You don't get tools with the trailer for assembly so you'll need a set of alan keys (two of the same size in order to tighten the bolt on the shock absorber). Saying all that, you shouldn't struggle with the assembly as it's pretty obvious how it all fits together. Mine arrived with the tyre pre-inflated but the clincer not on the rim correctly so bulging out on one side. i had to deflate the tyre and refit it to the rim a couple of times before it held but it's been fine since.Assembly is basically fitting the quick release skewer into the wheel. Fitting the mud guard to the fork (screws provided). Fitting the fork to the shocker and frame (undo the bolt in the shocker, pull the shocker out to meet the mounting hole in the fork and re-do the bolt, and removing the pre-fitted 'skewer' from the large hinge (where the arms connecting it to the bike are) so as to connect the arms to the trailer. The wheel is quick release so just slots into the fork.To give you a rough idea, I had it delivered to work and had it all assembled and ready to ride home in about 20 mins from opening the box, using tools luckily borrowed from the one remaining cyclist at the end of the day :)The trailer comes with a quick release skewer to replace the one through the axel of your bike wheel. Swapping this out is easy and doesn't even require removal of the wheel, just unscrew the end of the existing one, pull it out and put the new one in making sure the springs are as they were on the original. The trailer just clips on to the ends on the new quick release skewer, i.e. it sits over the top of them then there's a catch on each side, you depress it whilst moving it downward so the latch at the bottom covers the gap at the bottom then release the catch and you'll see it's secured in place. The trailer rides well. With it only having one wheel it follows the line of the bike exactly making it a doddle to use on tight bike paths and the associated obstacles the councils like to fit to them :) Also makes zipping through gaps in traffic not a problem. I have a two wheel trailer I have used prior to this and have had it fish tail and spill on corners etc - no such problems with this design at all.The waterproof bag is great, it's a really thick plastci coated material and will stand up to some decent loads and bad weather - however there is no zip or tie or anything at the top which seems to have cause some criticism in some of the other reviews. There's a clip (as you'd find on a waist clip of a rucksack for example) on the top side of either end of the bag and a reciprocating part on the bottom side of the bag. All you do is fold the top of the bag over along the length of the bag then pull the edges down along the width of the bag so as to clip the clips together, this holds the bag in a rectangular shape with the top firmly pressed down - so yes despite there being no actual zip or anything it's still not going to let rain in and will hold shut - however if you're carrying loads larger than the "folded top" size of the bag then, yes, it will be open at the top. I don't think this is a problem or a reason to mark down the trailer in a review as if it was a zipped bag you'd have the same thing. The bag doesn't attach to the trailer, it just sits tightly in it - so if it's not suitable it would be easy to find an inexpensive bag to replace it with, or put a box in there with a lid or whatever. If you haven't got a kickstand on your bike then, unlike the two wheel trailer, it will make leaving the bike at rest with the trailer on a bit harder as it will flop over from one side or the other and inevitably scratch on the ground. I've been down to B&Q and bought some pipe lagging and cable ties (see picture) to put round the parts that will come into contact with the ground or walls etc when at rest - problem solved.I'd decided against this trailer a few years ago in favour of one of the two wheeled ones as the trailer hitch system on this one appears to rely on you having a quick release axel on the bike it is to be attached to. However, i have found 100% compatible solid axel wheel nuts from a UK online biek shop - for a different trailer - which 100% replaces the need for the quick release skewer - they just replace the standard 10mm axle nuts on any bike wheel. I wish I'd known this before hand. So you'll be able to fit this to any bike apart from one with hub gears for the obvious reason of the gear shifter cable entering the hub through the axle / special nut.You can find the axle nuts from SJS Cyles on their website. Google for "M Wave Adapters for 10mm Solid-Type Axle for Single 40 Trailer Product code: 35882" and you will see them. They're like 12 pounds to buy so not a great amount of extra cost to add to the price of this trailer and will increase the range of bikes it can be fitted to by a great number.Overall I've been using this for a few days now, doing shopping and dropping off things at a charity shop etc. I most definitely haven't put a small child in it for a short trip to school as that would be very naughty but I imagine if I had done that would have been doable and made drop off with other luggage very easy.I'm running this with a pannier rack on as you can see so you'll be able to increase your carrying capacity there also. Watch out you don't overload your wheels though. You'll want nice strong wheels if you're planning to cart heavy loads about the place on a regular basis. All in all I can't find much to complain about with the trailed. It's great. I've only not given it the full 5 stars due to the poor manual and dodgy QA regarding the tyre - however that was an easy enough fix. i haven't bothered with the flag on the plastic stick as the mount for that's a bit flimsy and I can only see it snapping off. If drivers need an orange wobbly flag to see you on the road then perhaps they shouldn't be driving :)Hopefully this review will have been helpful but leave comments if you have any questions. Thanks

For Superman!
Planning a 2600kms "Tour de France" (Calais Marseille Bordeaux Calais) on canals tow paths and GR654 in May/June this year, I wanted to take my MTB (Vetus Sentier VRX 2016)... so a trailer was my first choice for carting my camping gear and all I need for this trip. Not wanting to invest too much in a trailer like a BoB Ibex and knowing how bad their cheap replica fared on the trail, I choose this Bike Original, (in the middle range of price)... Not finding any details about the axle, I asked the question "Does it come with a 12mm adaptator for my MTB rear axle??? Someone did reply (thank you!) stating that the trailer was delivered with TWO Quick-Release axles... Hence, being aware that only two standards existed, 5mm and 12mm... I ordered the goods, thinking that one of them would fit my bike. Well, the two axles came with the trailer and they both are 5mm... one for the bike and the other for the trailer. In fact, the 12mm QR are still not very common and you have to purchase one from a firm that is charging much too much for the "special QR" for the "Bike Original"................. So, instead of touring with my MTB, I have decided to use my Dawes SuperGalaxy with new Hybrids Marathon Plus Tour tyres. Well, I should really use a Massey Fergusson 400Cv because at 14kgs empty (!!!!!!) plus 35kgs of camping gear and clothes, even after training 20kms every day for a week at half load... I find it quite hard... So, compared to the 4,5kgs of the BoB, you need rather LARGE muscles to ride off roads for 9 or 10 hours a day... Result, the trailer will stay at home and I will pack my front and rear panniers. On the plus side, this Bike Original trailer seems to be undestructible!!!Apart from the "heavy" weight then, all is good. Solid and should last a long while, apart may be for the nylon tyre that does not seem that good.Hope this help. Edited to bring to your attention the fact that after riding in heavy showers today, the dry bag is not watertight as stitches for straps underneath and on sides have large sewing holes!!!! Will have to tape over in future.

Remorque monoroue.
