Easy to install
Great and very easy to install- unfortunately it is not suitable for the Kryptonite New York Lock

Works Well
Easy to install and feels sturdy. Worked with my Kryptonite Series 2 lock (despite other reviewers saying it doesn’t). Probably a bit overpriced but ultimately doesn’t the job!

Easy to fit
Worked perfectly with my existing Krptolok so that I can swap it between 2 bikes. Fitting took seconds and very secure fit.

Spline got stuck in bracket
I opened the packet and slid the silver spline to the black bracket, to test how the mechanism would work when pressing the release button to take the lock on and off the bike. This is as far as I have ever got as the spline got stuck in the bracket - it is well and truly secure - so secure there's no way I can remove it. In trying to remove it a lot of lube/glue or something came off the bracket and two parts separated - I have no idea if it was supposed to but since I can never use it again I will never find out.As if this wasn't enough, additionally the silver spline was too big for my Series 4 Evolution U Lock and the other one provided was too small. I suspect this is because my lock came with its own spline when I bought it which I have since misplaced, so perhaps this was never intended to fit it. Who knows.I never asked for a refund as I presumed it was my fault for testing the spline in the bracket before assembling it, but I know I'm not the only one to have done this - a quick Google shows it has happened to other people. If you know it's going to fit your lock, DON'T test it in the bracket until it's assembled.

Good product - no issues
I’ve had a Kryptonite lock with this type of bracket for a few years and it’s been fine. I needed this one so that I could transfer my lock between bikes. In the pack there is a little slip stuck to one of the parts with a QR code that you can use to access installation instructions. These are pretty good but if you do an internet search for ‘Kryptonite Transit FlexFrame-U Bracket Installation’ you’ll find a useful video. The principle of how the bracket holds on to the frame is quite simple, but if you approached the set of parts in the pack intuitively without accessing instructions or a video you might be a bit flummoxed. My lock is a ‘Kryptonite Kryptolok Standard Bicycle U-Lock’. By the time you’ve allowed space to lift the lock out of the bracket the choice of position within the bike frame is quite limited. I don’t mind that I don’t have space for a water bottle cage but if that is a concern you can fit it in various offset positions so that it sits outside the frame rather than within it

You can tell by looking...
...that this is a poor design. It sort of works, but it is unusually fiddly to install and the web strap inevitably loosens (as it obviously would--it's a small nylon web strap). Could Kryptonite, a part of multinational corporation Ingersoll Rand, with all its R&D resources, really not figure out a better way to accommodate different sizes of frame tubes than this?I've been using it for a few months, so before I give up on it I will try re-installing it, to see if I can't make it work better. But I shouldn't have to do that.

Clearing up mixed reviews
Seen a lot of mixed reviews before buying. Just set mine up and am going to try clear things up.- This bike lock bracket/holder comes with 2 “clasps”, one small, one big, each can be tightened using the provided Allen key. Meaning there should be no problem with U lock/D lock capability- The holder/bracket for your bike is again adjustable, and can be tightened using the Allen key, it doesn’t rattle but isn’t “rock solid” as you might hope. Does the job- There is very little instructions provided, so takes a bit of time to figure out.- The mechanism to remove and put the lock back is a standard “clip in”, no qualms so far.Hope this helps you all trying to make a decision. Does it work? Yes. Will it fit your bike and lock? Unless yours is ginormous, Yes. Is it what I expect for Kryptonite? Slightly subpar but does the job 🙂
