Must buy item
The texture is very nice. It is so alike a real noodle. No stranger smells. A good replacement of normal carbs noodles. Its 0 calorie! Just need to pull out the water and it is ready to eat. It can be eat as salad or with soup. Easy to prepare. I have rebuy 4boxes already!

No fishy smell
I bought this as it seemed a very good price and the reviews were good. I was impressed straight away by the lack of fishy smell you get with other brands - it can be a bit off putting! This had no smell at all and absorbs the flavour if whatever sauce you're having with it. I definitely prefer this to other brands I've tried but be aware that the packets are smaller than average - you only actually get 150g of rice once drained so definitely NOT two portions per pack as stated, but enough for me 🙂 Unfortunately, one of the pouches had burst inside the box so everything was soaked, but the seller gave me a partial refund on request. If they could find a way to ensure the packs don't leak it would definitely be a 5 star review.

Good alternative
Great product, we use it in almost every meal now as watching the calories and this makes a huge difference

Best one yet
Far better than Holland and Barrett's konjac rice at about 40% of the price. Unlike other shiritaki rice and pasta products I've tried this only need one quick rinse under the tap and the usual konjac flavour is gone leaving a neutral taste. I still dry fry it to remove the moisture. The texture is also an improvement on other konjac products and not rubbery. It even has a hint of softness to it and so soaks up sauce flavours better. Recommended.

Good noodles that don’t smell!
Doesn’t smell of fish like others.

No real substitute
It’s not too bad but it’s nothing like rice. It’s got the texture of slightly chewy pasta. I’ll eat it all but I wouldn’t order again.

Made me really ill
I'm afraid these have to go in the bin; I'm so disappointed as they didn't smell at all and tasted ok and I was looking forward to finding a good quality carb alternative to pasta. However, having only had 1/4 of the pack at around 5 pm and going to bed around 9.30, I was awake all night with a really bad stomach ache. The next day was not pleasant at all. I won't go into details, but you can use your imagination. If you do try them, NEVER have a full pack (1/2 a portion is the recommended serving amount), and start small, but for me, even a 1/4 pack didn't agree with me.

Price lost a star - but fantastic alternative to rice
I've eaten Konjac noodles before, but by a different brand. I wanted to try a rice version, but they didn't do them. So I took a chance on these.I'm mega impressed - they don't smell - the other brand had a strong fish sent that only went away with running it under a hot tap for an extended period of time.I did rinse them but not sure I needed to. I cooked them in some butter with sweetcorn. My wife said she didn't like the textture but I'm sold - I would happily eat these in place of rice - which is great because I'm on a low calorie diet and I was missing rice, these are a great substitute.Only issue is the cost - the packets are very small - half a regular packet of rice...and they're nearly £12 for 8 - thats pretty steep. Buying in a larger quantity would potentially work out cheaper but that would be nearly £60 - brining the cost down a little would make these an staple in my kitchen, but at the moment I'm going to have to be more selective when purchasing them.
