Good Value and Does the Job – Leaking on Arrival but Quickly Replaced
This Grangers Wash + Repel 2-in-1 is a great product—cleans well and restores waterproofing to outdoor clothing effectively. I’ve used it on jackets and walking trousers, and it really helps refresh performance gear without needing separate treatments. The eco pouch is a nice touch too, reducing plastic waste. The only downside was that the pouch arrived slightly leaking, but Amazon sorted the replacement quickly and without hassle, which I appreciated.Overall, it’s good value, easy to use, and does exactly what it promises. Just double-check the packaging on arrival.

Waterproofing in a bag
Cleaned my canvas work jacket and fleece very well, washed away salt and grime stains from roadwork.Neutral scent.I used 50% extra than recommended after reading reviews as the clothes were heavy thick material.Water now beads and runs off my canvas jacket.Single wash bottles from competitors are around a fiver, this is great value as I did all my work gear (overalls, jacket, fleece) and still have enough to use again if necessaryGreat for waterproofing your favourite clothes and refreshing protection on technical wear.Top quality, protection in a single wash cycle!

Good cleaning of technical clothes
Got 2 ski jackets clean which I then waterproofed and worked really well. Good cleaning although was more watery than usual washing liquid so needed to use drawer and smell is not like a laundry liquid, quite chemically. Seems to have worn off OK and happy that my ski outfits are cleaned and ready for another year. Good value for money as only need 100-150mls per wash and love that it has minimal packaging.

It works!
I had never re-waterproofed anything before and was very unsure what to use. On reading lots of reviews I chose this one. The instructions were clear and I put both my husbands and my jackets in the washer together. It cleaned them well, even removing the make up on my collar, and it waterproofed them. My jacket had previously become so unwaterproof that it was unwearable in the rain, but now it’s great. In fact the water runs straight off my jacket so my trousers were absolutely soaked within minutes, I remember to wear my waterproof trousers now 😂. Great product, would definitely recommend.

Appears to Have Cleaned & Proofed Garments.
Certainly cleaned a waterproof jacket & overtrousers, plus another jacket in a 2nd wash with plenty of concentrate left in the sachet. Easy to use in the washing machine and allowed to dry naturally after an 800 rpm spin. No detergent staining and all dirty marks gone.Appeared to be waterproof in a shower but time will tell when I take the dog for a walk on a wet day!

Not great but did help beading for first hour of rain.
I washed 2 jackets and 2 trousers in one batch.I prewashed items using liquid soap flakes first having cleaned the drawer in the machine100ml for initial item and 50ml for additional items as per directions...250ml totalJackets were a 3 layer mh900 decathlon jacket and a marmot precip. Trousers were Berghaus deluge. The heavier, 3 layer construction jacket gave the best result as it appeared to absorb the proofing into the outer material better. The thinner Precip jacket and leggings were slightly better than when I started but all were fully wetted after an hour of rain.A low tumble and separate wash for each garment may have helped but I followed instructions & prefer to air dry garments in the sunshine.I did proof the Precip jacket last year with another product and it cost me £7 for similar results. On a plus side at around £15 per litre I can wash all 4 items 4 times at a cost of less than £1 per item.Take away - Good value. However, all the latest eco-proofers I've tried simply don't perform, for my gear.

Easy application
Easy to use but no idea how effective it’ll be as it hasn’t rained yet!
