Bosch Rotak 43 LI Ergoflex Lawnmower 36 V Cordless Lithium-Ion Lawnmower (43 cm cutting width) (baretool: supplied without battery/without charger)

I have used mowers professionally and as an amateur gardener for over 50 years. Illness forced me to give up my 30 cm push, cylinder mower. After a lot of research and a remaining degree of scepticism I bought this model. The finished cut is superb. The grass collection and capacity is excellent. It is a light machine with a well-placed handle for lifting, which I can managed. I can cut for 30 plus minutes, and cover some 300 square metres in total and I don't think I have got near to depleting the battery, which is simple to place in its slots and charging is also very simple. The mower has a roller between the rear wheels which will produce stripes but that is all, it is not a roller. The roller also helps to prevent scalping should the rear wheel drop off the lawn edge. It has comb-type attachments on the outside of the deck which aids close mowing to decking or walls but take care near wanted plants because if you get too close it will comb and cut these! It is a very quiet machine, creates no fumes, no cable, no having to collect fuel, height adjustment is simple and most importantly, this mower is both easy and a pleasure to operate. But be aware, it is a rotary mower - respect its operation. Any converses? Only that the grass collection box has nooks and crannies that don't lend themselves to clean as easily as a conventional concave grass box. In summary, it is a great piece of kit. So pleased I bought mine.

Once you get over the fact you have to buy separate batteries and a charger this lawnmower is great . Lightweight so easy on the back . Cuts well and it tackled the first cut of the season well considering how high my grass was . I had to use 2 batteries on a large lawn but luckily I bought 2 batteries so I could swap them . I was also impressed with the edges the comb works well especially around the deck I have . The leaves were also taken up on my paths when I raised the level and used it to suck up the leaves and bits that have been appearing on my paths . No petrol no oil and no flex to chop through ... at last a lawnmower that you can just push around and not have to be a mechanic or eagle eye watching out for flex . Great buy all in all . Batteries and charger could of been in the box and a bit cheaper which is why the 4 stars . The batteries also slide in and out very easily but make sure you remove debris from the chamber as I expect it could clog the catch up . Thanks Bosch my jungle is now under control and looks like a velvet carpet once again and my back is fine .

Delighted with this cordless mower. I was a bit uncertain having read other reviews, but have been using it for a few weeks and can't fault it. The battery is small and easy to remove. It shows no sign of running out of power when used on my medium sized lawn. I set it up on my own with no difficulty, the grass box was perhaps slightly fiddly to construct but not really a problem. There is a good range of height settings. I bought it to replace a corded Bosch Rotak as I had greatly extended my lawn area and had always found the cord a real nuisance even on a small area of grass. It performs every bit as well as the corded one, and is so much more convenient. Highly recommended.

I've use this mower for about 2 months and while yes...it is lite and yes it does cut grass and it is also less smelly and easier to use than a petrol mower there are a couple of major problems. The battery lasts at most 30 mins...if your lawn is bigger than a postage stamp you will need more than one or even two...expensive batteries as they take over an hour or more to charge! The collector basket also fills up quickly and needs emptying about 5-6 time sin that 30 minute mowing slot. Nice idea...but oversold. Wish I had gone for a petrol mower.

I was dismissive of "battery mowers", with my macho 53cm Honda powered petrol model. Then I downsized in house to a medium sized awkwardly shaped lawn and had a rethink. I tried a small powered Webb, but this well known brand has no substance any more and it all fell apart on me. I had to give in and borrow a neighbor's smaller version of this mower. And.. I became a convert!It is VERY light and pushing it (which was a chore when I had to on my Mountfield, and the dire Webb) is easy - so one objection gone. I might have struggled to assemble it, but I had helped the same neighbor do his, so the second time was easy. Good luck if it's your first! Folding the handle for storage is a dawdle and it fits my new mini-shed perfectly. The grass box is quite large and only needs emptying twice on my medium sized lawns. As a previous reviewer commented - it's not happy when the box is full, but neither was my big Mountfield.I can get two cuts from one charge, but if you forget, a half hour coffee break whilst it tops up will be enough to do the lawn. Apart from the current price, I can't find a lot to fault with this mower. If you want one, watch the price on Amazon - it does go sub £300 (That's probably got this review censored by "big brother" Az!) My advice - when the price is right, buy one, you will love it.

Had hiervoor ook een Bosch Rotak accumaaier. Deze heeft het twaalf jaar goed gedaan. Had net een nieuwe accu gekocht toen de motor het begaf. Daarom deze aanbieding genomen zonder accu en lader. Zeer snel geleverd. Accu er in, en hopelijk weer voor 12 jaar tevreden. De extra mulch klep is een aanrader. Het gemaaide gras wordt mooi in de grasmat gewerkt, dus geen gesleep met de opvangbak. Wel elke week maaien, want met te lang gras werkt het minder goed. Ik heb maar een klein gazon van 150 m2. Eén acculading is vodoende voor 2x maaien.

Se avete un prato di 350-450mq il prodotto è perfetto perché è silenzioso, leggero, taglia perfettamente l'erba. Venivo da un rasaerba a scoppio e, dovendo salire diversi gradini, era complicato portare tutto quel peso, aggiungi i problemi di manutenzione (candela, benzina, olio), inquinamento, puzza e la risposta è.... rasaerba a batteria. Ovviamente non aspettatevi un prodotto robusto come uno in ferro ma, per prati di dimensioni contenute, non c'è discussione di sorta. La batteria da 2amp è durata tranquillamente per 450mq anche dovendo tagliare erba alta (10 cm) e l'ho continuata ad usare sul decesbugliatore (sempre bosch). Lo consiglio.

Produit répondant exactement à mes attentes. Possedant déjà 2 batteries de 2,3Ah, j'espérais qu'elles soient compatibles avec cette nouvelle tondeuse, vendue actuellement, en magasin, avec une batterie 4Ah. Bosch, que j'avais contacte, m'avait confirme que cela ne poserait pas de problemes et c'est le cas.Vous êtes un des rares sites à la vendre nue et au meilleur prix. L'économie, ainsi réalisée est particulièrement appréciable. De plus livrée, le surlendemain de ma commande. Je suis vraiment très satisfaite.

La máquina perfecta para tener mi cesped arreglado, tengo una superficie sobre los 500 mts cuadrados y la batería llega de sobra, por cierto puntualizar que la batería y el cargador hubo que comprarlos aparte, aún así compra perfecta!

Wir hatten schon das letzte Modell (2000 qm Rasen waren zu mähen, dafür hielt der Mäher 6 Jahre, das ist in Ordnung). Das Nachfolgermodell ist noch besser, insbesondere der zuletzt aufgetretene Wackelkontakt bei der Batterie wenn es huckelig wurde, ist jetzt komplett nicht mehr vorhanden, weil die Batterie viel stabiler einrastet.Es empfiehlt sich übrigens ein noch stärkerer Akku, den man seperat bei Bosch bestellen kann (um die vielen qm zu schaffen).
