Thermajohn Long Johns Thermal Underwear for Men Fleece Lined Base Layer Set for Cold Weather

I'm 6'2", 185. I have long slender legs and wear 32/33x34 levis. I have "no butt". I bought a 2XL in these and was worried but they fit well. They aren't super tight like I expect "long johns" to be but are plenty snug. The inside has a slight fuzz to it making them very comfortable. And being long legged and long armed, I'm really happy that the sleeve/leg lengths are great. Most long sleeve t's or hoodies (I usually wear a medium for a slim fit) sleeves are too short and I have the urge to just push them up so they aren't dangling/rubbing mid-arm. This shirt goes well over my wrists and the legs reach my ankles. Tough to beat for the price. Go get 'em. Just read reviews and try to figure the best size. If I order more, I'll try the regular XL's to try a tighter fit.

I needed more thermals so I bought these because of the reviews. There were reviews saying they fit small for size, so I ordered an XL. I am 6'1" and 195#, with a slightly long torso. My normal size is 42 chest (size L) and 33x32 pants (size L)Pro: I will say the. material is fantastic. Very soft and I can feel the heat retention well.Con: I read reviews that said these run small for size so I ordered XL. These actually run very large for size. The XL fit like 2XL, maybe even 3XL. Now I like my thermals a little tight so they don't add a bunch of under layer bulk but the crotch was about 5" below my "junk," and the legs went past my foot. If I pulled up the pants to make the length fit, the waistband was up around my ribcage. I will return these and probably get a medium.I gave 4 stars because the material is great, price was good, and Amazon has a great return policy. I took off 1 star for the inconvenience of it not being accurately sized.

I do usually wear a MEDIUM, I ordered large which was the right move. They are appropriately snug but not too tight. I have not used thermal underwear since the old cotton waffle design. These are fabulous. In NC, the days and nights can be chilly, and trying to keep my gas heating bill reasonable. They are soft, non bulky and do what I need. I bought a second pair of these and a pair for my brother in FL. When he comes up to NC in the winter to visit, he is never prepared with warm enough clothing. He loves them too.

So these are warm, fit snug as they are meant to and overall loved them. However if you think you're a large buy extra large. Bought these as a gift and thought large would fit perfect but it was shorter on the arm and a smidge to tight. Exchanged and got the extra large and the fit was perfect. Mind you the person I bought it for is very thin with a bit of a beer belly. He needed the extra inch/es on the sleeve and the coverage on the belly. Also he felt more comfortable when it wasn't super tight.

Picked up a couple of these for a ski trip to Utah and they kept pretty warm! Tried out snowboarding for the first time, so I ended up getting snow blasted up my back a few times. But, the thermals didn't get soaked and nasty like cotton ones would. I was warm enough just wearing the base layer and outer wear, even in 9 degree weather, so good stuff!

Fabric was nice & comfortable against the skin. My husband wears an XL in shirts and a 38 in jeans so we ordered an XXL based on reviews that said these ran small and based on the sizing chart. This was *not* our experience. The XXL long johns were very baggy/loose on him & not at all close fitting. We sent them back & ordered a large which fit him much better. The only problem with the large is that they're about 6" too long for my 5'6" husband. I plan to simply hem them. The return process couldn't have been easier & the replacement was shipped very quickly. Overall we were very pleased.

Decided to bite the bullet and replace some 10+ year old, too small, wore out, thermals I have for when I fish in cold weather. Checked out the reviews on these and overall we very positive. I got them and I was super impressed! They fit really nice, are super soft on the inside layer, seem to be built really well, and they do the job and give you that extra warmth in the colder temps. Would definitely buy these again. To help with fit, I’m 6’2, 240, and 2xl was perfect.

I ordered these for my upcoming trip to Antarctica. They seem very well made and just the right thickness to keep you warm but not impede movement. I have worn them around my area in temps down in the 20's under thin gortex rainproof pants as a test, they keep me toasty without being too hot. In Antarctica I plan on wearing them under an insulated snow skiing suit I have, I think they will be perfect.For the price, I think this set is a good value and will perform well.
