Fantastic way to get into more creative cooking in the kitchen
After watching Babish grow from a Reddit post to a massive youtube channel covering multiple different topics. This book is still fantastic to this day. The recipes are delicious (depending on how well you follow them XD.) And there is such a wide variety thanks to where the recipes came from that you'll rarely be bored and easily find some new favourite meals. Can't recommend enough

It's Like Being in Andrew Rae's Kitchen.
This book is exactly what I was looking for. It has a lot of the classic recipes from the Youtube series Binging with Babish and provides great details. Furthermore, there are simply recipes, as easy as pancakes, and more labor intensive ones like fish tacos. This would be perfect for a gift or for your own cooking pleasure. Even if you are not a cook, this books looks nice on a shelf and I often have guest look through it and ask me what the recipes are from. I would recommend this highly for any Binging with Babish fan.

Babbish Knows Best
Andrew's book is a wonderful guide to cooking what you see on TV and if you haven't already, check out his channel on YouTube, Binging With Babbish. He's funny, easy to follow, and the videos are entertaining. This book is wonderful for the same reasons. You've now got a physical cookbook (much better than googling recipes) written by a creative and unique individual, with recipes that are easy to follow and fun to cook.To be fair, I'm a huge fan and I actually bought three of these as gifts last Christmas. I may buy more this year to give out.

Food & Film. Can't Be Beat
Andrew has a great YouTube channel, Binging With Babbish. He focuses on recreating food items from movies and TV shows, no matter how absurd it might sound. Speaking for myself, I don't give the food on film much thought, even if it's a star of the film. From his forward, Andrew convinces you that it's more important than you think and, thanks to him, I will probably pay more attention in the future. This book is a collection of several of his recipes from various movies and personal notes on his thoughts on each. Andrew is definitely passionate about film and food. He makes the recipes fairly easy and straightforward. I'm very interested in the homemade pastrami. If you aren't familiar with Binging With Babbish and enjoy food and film, check out his YouTube series. Even if you don't cook anything yourself, his high quality videos are very entertaining. He just started Basics With Babbish, same channel, which teaches basic culinary skills. Eventually, you will be able to cook along and interact with him via Twitch.

Book is intended as a companion for the show, not a replacement.
Bingeing with Babish's show is super great. He makes something from some bit of cinema, eats some of it, and describes it--as in any cooking show--and you have a good time watching. Highly recommended. You get clips, quotes, and factoids from the selected show, and in particular you see images of the food from the film. Then you get his rationale as to why he's making certain decisions, and what deductions he's making about the ingredients and cooking technique.I can't recommend the show highly enough for a hungry person who wishes they could taste whatever random thing they saw in some show or another, or just for a foodie who remembers seeing these things.I can't recommend the book any more highly than any other random cookbook you've got cluttering your shelves. The book has nice pictures in it, and has the recipes. That's it.If you want the recipes printed nicely, or to adorn your bookshelf, buy this.If you're looking to support Babish? Maybe buy it, but he's got a Patreon if you don't want the clutter. The recipes are on his website.

Unique and awesome recipes!
This is a really nice looking cook book and channels the essence of Andrew Rea. The recipes are really unique and unlike any other cook book. I'd say the recipes are pretty novelty and not practical for an everyday dinner kind of meal, but that's why I love it! Really great cookbook and it could be a fun activity to make one of the recipes and have a movie night or something. Great first cook book Andrew!

Great cook book filled with imagination
The book is definitely movie themed, but mostly its just a collection of really good recipes from all over. The range is massive, and no matter what your tastes are, you'll find something in here for you. The recipes range from easy, to astoundingly complicated, meat lovers to vegetarian. There's no way every recipe will work for one person, but anyone will like at least one fourth of whats in here. It's also fun to just read. The movie theming is on each page and that makes it more playful than most other cook books on my shelf.

Amazinggggg!!!!
Amazing!!!!! I got this as a birthday present for my movie-geek best friend, and I almost couldn't bring myself to part with it, so I may buy another for me. The photography and recipes were both to die for. My mouth was watering just flipping through and the interpretations were so creative. Even the movies I hadn't seen, the recipes looked delicious!
