This light but moist cream is wonderful and worth the money. I didn’t know this cosmetic exist until my niece gave it to me one Christmas 4 years ago and now I am hooked. I also use her facial scrub which is also works on my face like magic. I used to have some brown spots on my face .. now they are lighter. Thanks Kate!! Now my face is clearer.

I'm a huge fan of water cream products and this is no exception. Its easy to apply; a little goes a long way. Absorbs quickly and beautifully and leaves no greasy/sticky look or feel behind. Delivers instant and long lasting hydration that my skin desperately needs. Best of all, it plumps and helps reduce my fine lines. And it does so quickly. Its amazing.The cream does have a light scent: reminds me of suntan lotion. Its not strong or overpowering and fades quicklyI have dry, sensitive skin and have no issues with any of the ingredients in this creamThe product is dispensed via a small hole at the top of the jar. I've seen this before in other creams and like this method, however, I think my jar might be slightly damaged. Sometimes when I press, nothing comes out. Other times, a small amount trickles out and then there are times when it shoots straight into the air like a mini volcano. lolol. Not a big deal to me, just wanted to mention.Testing this marks the first time I've ever used a Kate Somerville product. So far, so very good! I love this water cream and the wonderful fast results it delivers. Can be used prior to applying makeup and SPF. (allow it to absorb first)

Been using this for almost about a week. Never used anything like this, or the mechanism to release the product before. My face is in a constant dry state. Well it was in a constant dry state. I've tried different brands of moisturizers before and samples of some higher end ones.If you don't know how to get the product out of the jar, the trick is to not push down too hard or you'll have this face cream shooting everywhere and you may have to answer some questions about what that is on the ceiling of your home.Day four is today for applying this moisturizer to my face (4/20/23) and this morning my face feels so soft. It never feels soft after applying moisturizer 18 hours ago. Most products fade out simply over a two hour period for me. The scent is lovely. I don't know what I could say it smells like, but I love the scent. It's a soft scent that matches this product completely.A lot goes a long way with this. The product is easily spread on your face and it just takes a small amount, prob smaller than your pinky nail. I am truly impressed with this product and I can't wait to see the results when I am finished with the jar.

This cream is really lovely - it goes on smoothly, is not greasy, absorbs well and has a light scent. I use it both as a night cream and under makeup as a day cream. The dispenser is a bit more sanitary than just a regular jar, but you have to use a light touch to make sure too much does not come out. I also feel like in order not to waste any expensive cream, I'll be wrenching the top all the way off at the end to scrape every last drop out of the jar. Unfortunately, this cream is SO expensive and while it is really nice, it would be hard to make it a regular part of my ongoing beauty routine. But if you are willing to pay a lot for a nice, light face cream that moisturizes well, this one fits the bill.

Let’s get this out of the way first, the bottle has a pathetically designed dispensing mechanism. At first it seems like a really innovative simple idea, a great way to dispense the correct amount and to reduce product waste. It’s not. Half the time when you press the thing down nothing comes out. I seem to have to press SEVERAL times to get anything at all out, then it’s basically nothing. The next pump I usually get a lot more. So, not only is it not dispensing anything much of the time, when it does dispense, the amount varies wildly. I do find that two pumps (of differing amounts) is generally enough for my face. I was excited about this dispenser so it’s exceptionally disappointing to see how poorly it was made, especially for such an expensive product. It comes off super easily though for those of you worried about getting every last drop (I’m the type who will take a box cutter to a bottle to get to the last bit, I get it!).Besides the VERY aggravating design flaw, I do really like the rest of the packaging and the product itself. The bottle is really pretty. It’s one of those products that just looks premium. You won’t be embarrassed prominently displaying this one.The product itself is a lightweight lotion that’s between lotion and gel. It spreads onto the skin beautifully and absorbs better than pretty much any product I’ve ever tried (and I can tell you that is a high number). Must of my “final step” products seem to sit on the skin for an extended period of time, some never fully absorb. This one leaves my skin feeling soft without any residual greasy or shiny look.In summary: despite the really poorly designed dispensing mechanism (they should really be ashamed of putting this on the shelves) the product is lovely. It’s lightweight and absorbs quickly leaving soft skin without any residual grease or shine.

First off, it feels very nice. It feels like a silky dense water based lotion. It feels lightweight, nice on the skin, and glides on smooth. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed! It works well for my daughter who has combo skin - mostly oily with some dryness. Although this lotion is hydrating, it is not hydrating enough for my very dry skin.The active ingredient is hyaluronic acid.Comes in pretty packaging and the water cream dispensing out of a fancy pump.
