I've had to amend my original review of this case because I found a slight problem. Firstly I'm OCD about all my tech and hate it when things get avoidable scratches marks and bumps. I still maintain this is one of the best cases you can buy for the Asus ZE551ML phone, it fits perfectly and offers great protection to the back and edges of the phone. It's not ultra thin and it does add a touch of extra bulk, but that is perfectly acceptable as I have had the ultra thin cases and not only do they discolored quickly, they don't offer anywhere near the same level of protection against an accidental drop of the device. My only concern, and this will not apply to the majority of people who buy this case, is that it is extremely hard for a gel case and as a result the inside edges of the case that fits over the highly polished black bezel of the phone are very sharp and are prone to leave scratches and scuff marks on the bezel when snapping the phone into the case. Not obvious unless you actually look for it and shows up far more in a bright light. As I said, this is just me being OCD and the vast majority won't give two hoots about it, but it's a concern for me personally and anyone else who likes to keep their tech in pristine condition. I bought another case that looks very similar but is more bendy with far softer edges but I can't leave a link because it's sold out. For sure I agree that anyone reading this will think I'm as daft as a brush for being so petty, it's just a shame that it takes the edge, if you'll pardon the expression, of what is otherwise an extremely good case for your Asus phone.

Absolutely 5 out of 5 simple back case slight lip on the screen for protection, shows the phone off whilst protecting it, works with tempered glass screen protector  IVSO Premium Tempered-Glass Screen Protector for Asus Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML/ZE550 ML) 5.5-Inch smartphone - Ultra-thin High Quality HD Clear Premium Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Asus Zenfone 2 5.5-Inch smartphone (Tempered-Glass - 1 Pack)  on off button at the top easier to press all the cut outs perfect and a dust cap to protect the audio jack as well as a cut out on the bottom left side to attach a lanyard. Hardly any bulk to an otherwise large phone case looks fantastic.Update 19/6/15 Anti-Scratch Technology with Innovative Anti-Static Element to Prevent Your Phone from Dust. I didn't bother to make a comment on these two features on the original review unlike many other cases of this type within a week their scratched up to the point they look old and tatty ruining the look of your device. Not this case, not one scratch or mark after a week of heavy handed use, nor any build up of dust or lint.

I don't normally write reviews, however I was so impressed with this case that I felt compelled to write one.I've had many cases for various phones over the years from otterboxes to cheap novelty cases. The build quality of this case is certainly on the higher end of the spectrum. The fit, the materials used, the precision of the cutouts, the button and headphone covers are all exceptionally good.As a consequence the case looks very good on the phone and shows off the design while being unobtrusive. The level of the protection feels good for the low profile of the case, I especially like the raised ridge around the screen to offer some protection to the phone display.Overall I think this case is a good balance between protection and added bulk. I hope that the quality holds up well to daily wear and tear, but based on my experience so far I will definitely look for Ringke cases in future.

The cover looks nice and fits well. However the screen glass protector was really thin and can't protect much... But consider that Zenfone 2 5.5 has Gorilla Glass 3 and can survive minor damages and scratches itself.

Very nice way of protection. This case was really good… was because I changed the phone and dont use it anymore.But I remember it to be perfect to handle and it did protect my phone in many times.

Very bulky making phone feel huge. Collects dust and dirt under it due to not having good attachment to the phone. Impact absorption is substandard. There are a lot of other alternatives out there and at current price this case is mediocre at best

The product description and pictures are amazing...but in reality things are not that good.First of all, the plastic cut is not perfect. On one of the edges and near the camare gap, the plastic was cut with imperfections...Second, the Anti-Scratch Technology on the back side, seems like a plastic thin coat, that needs to be peeled off...but in fact, there is nothing to peel (not perfect at all).So, I am dissapoited with this case because I have already bought cases from other brands, an they were always perfectly manufactured.

Quite heavy. Its thick so plenty of protection. Takes the beauty of the ZenFone 2 away a bit though. Had to cut a piece out the back by the camera as the flash would hit the case and leak into the sensor.
