Robust and well-made.
A very robust, well-made lock. Needed it for the garage side door, and it seems to function well. Needs to be fitted carefully for the action to be reliable..

Excellent Value. Easy to Fit as a Direct Replacement
Quality of the keys don't seem as good as a previous purchase of the same make and model. But it was a great price from the Warehouse. The latch bolt was the wrong way around - easy to fix but probably why it had been returned. Very easy to install - 10 minutes including switching the latch bolt around and reinstalling.

Smooth action, cheap but different locking box
If you are replacing older ERA 5-lever locks then this is more of the same, strangely in a red colour - though naturally once installed you don't see it.It is smooth and works well and is pretty cheap for what it is. it looks solid and quality is OK but don't expect miracles for the price. 45mm backset. But as with other makers, the locking box is different - which means you cannot use the old ERA locking box. No - you need to chisel an larger hole which means a 3-5min job now becomes a 15min job. Also it seems to be rotated 180deg so the screw holes are on the other side? Why ERA?Also note it comes with 2 keys only, not 3 like other locks so budget for another key cut if you need more than 2. I guess that's why it's cheap(er)...

Good lock
Used to replace a front door lock which I seem to have to do every 5-7 years as the key/lock eventually wears away. Seems to be secure and does the job and easy to fit. Shame it was silver keys not brass but maybe they will last longer/
