Q: Can i use this product with a 5 gallon bucket as a water source or does it have to be connected to house pipes? I want it for a camping van.

Q: Are there instructions on how to install this?

There are instructions included I believe I guess installation depends on what your using it for I converted a water station for a football team to a bottle filling station because of Covid I found instructions on you tube for my installation
