Bought as a present for my girlfriend to go with her other pusheens. Looks as cute as it does in the photos and just as soft.Only downside is that after about a month of having it, the star on the front has come a little loose. So if you're giving this to someone younger expect it to need to be sewn back on at some point if played with a lot.

Survived a vomit bath
My daughter wished for this for her birthday and it was the only thing she wanted so I caved and bought this toy at what I think is a pretty overpriced price! However the quality is good and it is really soft. So even though she was sick and ill and vomited all over it in bed, it cleaned up fine and there is no trace of any vomit! (which is good as she would make me splash out for another one if there was!).

Almost Purrfect
An absolutely wonderful addition to my growing pusheen family. As can be expected from Gund, she's really well made and super cute. I also own pusheenosaurus of whom I’ll compare her to now to explain my 4* review over 5*:-Mermaid pusheen is more tightly stuffed than pusheenosaurus. While she undoubtedly soft and squishy, pusheenosaurus is chubbier and has an overall squisher feel that's better for cuddles. Mermaid pusheen is thinner and feels more like cuddling a soft cushion, however the extra stuffing helps her to have more defined ears-My mermaid pusheen has slight surface flaws. one cheek blush is sown closer to one eye than the other, you can see some fur has been sown into her mouth and eye and the whiskers are ever so slightly lop-sided. My pusheenosaurus dosn't have any of these issues, however these minor details on mermaid pusheen make her extra special to me, so it's not a deal breaker for me personally but it might be an issue for more serious collectorsThis being said she's still a wonderful addition and a great soft toy. I ordered mine directly from amazon and she's 100% authentic. The star on her ear looks like it may not be too sturdy, so be prepared to sew it back on if she sees a lot of love and affection. I love her a lot and I highly recommend her to anyone thinking of buying!
