Nostalgia Meets Innovation with Healthy Instant BamNut Noodles - A Ramen Revelation!
As a seasoned veteran of the Ramen Regiment - my college years practically culminating in a degree in Ramen Connoisseurship - I thought I had tasted everything the world of instant noodles had to offer. But, the introduction of Healthy Instant BamNut Noodles has shaken the very foundations of my noodle knowledge, prompting a reassessment of what it truly means to enjoy a gourmet instant noodle meal.BamNut Noodles are a class above the rest, redefining my concept of gourmet ramen-style noodles. Every bite brings a melange of intriguing and appetizing flavors - an epicurean journey across a spectrum of varieties - including the sweet warmth of pumpkin, the healthful twist of moringa, and the earthy depth of charcoal. The constant, though, across all these different varieties is their fantastic nutritional profile. With an impressive 17 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber, each serving of these noodles is not only delicious but equally wholesome, making you feel satiated and satisfied. What’s more, the sugar content remains commendably low, ranging from a mere 2 to 8 grams, depending on the variety. Healthy eating has never been this delectable or convenient! These BamNut Noodles are perfect for whipping up a quick, nutritious meal on those busy weeknights or for a cozy weekend treat. Enjoy them straight from the pack or get creative with a fried or soft-boiled egg (see the picture) and a drizzle of hot sauce on top. You'll find that the lessons learned from those college "cooking" sessions can be put to great use here, transforming these noodles into a gourmet feast.WhatIf Foods has flipped the script on the instant noodle narrative. Now, it's no longer a trade-off between health and convenience or taste and nutritional content. Healthy Instant BamNut Noodles have perfected the balance, taking food that is easily and quickly prepared to a whole new level of delicious, healthy satisfaction. In a nutshell, or should I say, in a BamNut shell, these noodles are a game-changer in the world of instant meals. Yummy Noodles!
When I was looking for fast cooking noodles other than grocery store ramen, I saw WhatIF Foods® "Instant Noodles." The healthy ingredients and unique flavors intrigued me. WhatIF Foods® variety pack was a great way for me to try the noodles. As it turns out, I love all the varieties! These noodles are delicious and a giant step above grocery store ramen.Cooking and Preparing the Noodles. The noodles come in a round disc. Per the instructions for microwaving, I put one disc in water, cooked it for a short time, flipped the disc (which was coming apart), and finished cooking it. I like my noodles somewhat al dente, so I reduced the instructions' cooking time by about 45 seconds. I reserved a large tablespoon or two of the cooking liquid. I then drained the noodles in a smooth plastic, small-holed strainer. Next, I put the drained noodles in the bowl with the reserved cooking liquid, added the spice and oil packets included with the noodles, and then stirred/tossed the noodles. I sometimes steam some vegetables to add to the noodles; I add the veggies last and toss the noodles one more time. When all is said and done, I have a delicious meal! Some Random Notes. Regarding the strainer, I did not use my wire strainer because I did not want the noodles to get caught up in the wire. My strainer for washing rice worked perfectly. Regarding the spice and oil packets, each noodle variety comes with its own, unique flavor packets. I amp up the spice packet by adding more spice (e.g., black pepper, chile flakes/powder, garlic if I think it goes with the spices in the spice packet). The oil packets have only a little oil; adding the oil did NOT make the noodles oily; instead the bit of oil helped pull the flavors together.Serving Size. A single disc of these noodles makes a reasonable to sort of small meal. If someone usually eats larger sized meals, a single disc may not be enough food. Adding vegetables, for example, will make the noodles more filling. The noodles could also be served as a side dish, but I like them so much I want the noodles to be my main course.Value. Because I love the noodle varieties and the quality of the ingredients, I will continue to buy WhatIF Foods® noodles. They are kind of expensive, however, especially in light of the somewhat small serving size and the fact everyday grocery store ramen is less expensive and usually makes larger servings.

Very good, but not mind-blowing
I ate my way through all 4 flavors and, as far as single-serving noodles go, they were very good. The flavors were strong enough and they were all something I might order again from a menu. For me, though, I had tried these in hopes of finding a lower-calorie, more healthy alternative to other noodles. Calorie-wise, they're about the same or more than the average, especially when you add in the oils and flavor packs that come with each one. For the amount of food and the cost per pack, they aren't really worth the calories to me.They're packaged with their spices individually, and each flavor is different, which means I couldn't really add them to other things I would make where healthier/lower calorie noodles would be good. If I could buy larger bricks of specific flavors, at maybe half the price, that I could add to other soups, they might be worth it.If you're into just eating single portions of flavored noodles, or you can't have wheat/gluten/etc, then they're probably great for you. For my needs of just needing yummy-enough noodles with fewer calories at a lower price, they're still good, but miss the mark for me.
