Great quality and reliable compass
This is a very good, well built compass with built in romer scales for different scale maps, even if it is a bit expensive. However, you get what you pay for, and this is designed to last.

The Go-to compass for all your outdoor needs
Tried and tested, this is the compass to go for. A good size for taking bearings, quick to stabilise, and just enough luminescence to be useful without worrying whether it should be in a lead-lined case. The three different roamer scales are ideal for the maps commonly used in the UK.

I lost my original Silva compass some time ago and tried cheaper ones. Unfortunately they lacked accuracy so I am glad that I now have a reliable and robust compass.

Probably the most useful compass on the market
As a qualified Mountain Leader, I have been using these for years. The are recommended and used the national mountain centres on their mountain leadership and instructor courses. They have all the features you need to navigate in poor weather.
