Fantastic quality, excellent service, terrific price. Can't fault.
I ordered this little fella knowing it was a kit but I didn't know he would come as a full airfix style kit - which was no problem to me, in fact it made the whole experience more enjoyable - so perhaps if you haven't much experience in assembling these kind of models, it's something to bear in mind. Also the instructions are in Japanese but the diagrams are very clear and easy to follow so it shouldn't be an issue so long as you take your time and follow the numbers in sequence. In total I think it took me a little over half an hour to complete and there's no glue involved either, it all clicks together to make a very sturdy end product, I was very impressed with the quality of moulding. He does look a little too "brand new" when he's completed, so as suggested by another reviewer, I purchased some Tamiya weathering modelling paints (also from Amazon) to give him an authentic look. I've never "weathered" a model before so that will be a buzz when they arrive.I can then take our little Danbo on trips with us and photograph him having fun - well, it would be rude not to ;D

Quirky, fun and hip right now
OK, its a very easy to build out of the box, fun little kit. I think 99% of these must be sold to photographers as Flickr is full of Danbo's in various poses around the World. This is exactly why I got mine, but to be different, and thinking of the fact he is supposed to be made of cardboard, I painted mine and wehthered him substantially uses Tamiya weathering kits, no in my opinion he looks more realistic.Great kit, not always easy to get, buy one!

Five Stars
Fairly robust, unlike a smaller version I have.
