What's the difference between first instinct and first instinct blue?

I’ve only bought 1st instinct, which lists smells like Melon & musk. It’s very light, I buy it for my teen son. BLUE lists apple and amber but I haven’t tried it, might smell a bit stronger as I never see it listed for boys.

Considering the low price for a 100ml bottle first instinct is worth having in the collection. It is a youthful, synthetic scent, not something you’d wear to an office job. The main weakness of this is the performance I’d almost recommended applying double what you would usually. Not a bad fragrance all around.
