LOVE these. Had them lit every night in the garden. We used citronella in ours to keep the mozzies away. They dint fit in all sizes of bottles. Luckily my husband drink lots of the bottles in the pictures. Def recommend. Wont need to buy any new wicks for a few years either as theyre good quality and dont burn down much

I understand it will fit into 'corked' wine bottles but not screw top, it shows 2 seals on the fitting but only 3 seals come with the 3 fittings, it is NOT a universal fit into bottles, once you realise this is not a universal fit, they assemble quite easily, fill your bottle first, leave some space as the wick will displace some oil, I used citronella oil to keep insects away in the evenings put the sealing rings on to the brass fitting, push the 'large' wick in through the end with the seals on it, push the wick into the bottle the seal will push in easily, add a little more oil to the top of the wick leave for 20-30 mins to allow oil to soak through and it will light very easily,

Love these but being a first time Tiki Torch user and maker it would have been better with more detailed instructions on taping ends and cutting to size etc as the wick unravels and shrinks in length when cut! A shame as better instructions would have given more stars.

Read a years worth of other reviews and I have to say that the criticisms are unnecessary. This is a reasonable cost product for a Tiki torch wannabe. It is very well packaged, the graphics and presentation is professional. The components are just as described, no disappointments, no unexpected substitutions.I don’t know what other buyers expect for a $12 product but this fits all the needs to make one or 3 tiki torch(s) ASAP. The whiners about not fitting their favorite bourbon bottle sob, sob, sob……. Boo hoo…. get a life! Adjust your expectations and learn to appreciate that you had options. Or you can spend the money and just buy a tiki torch and not have to go through unnecessary gyrations when you don’t get what you THINK you are entitled to. No seller can read your mind!!Yes, you can go to the big box stores or hardware store and put together all the components but isn’t your time and sanity worth something? Maybe the next time around, when I need some thing like this I “could” spend the time and energy to prowl through frustrating hardware drawers / departments and come up with something like this, but but but but this works, this is a very reasonable price, there are no surprises, so I’m happy! Why would I subject myself to unnecessary angst for such a simple item? You could do this and then you wouldn’t be disappointed when buying this product. Seems like it’s easier to criticize than to exert your own energy…..Good job sellers, don’t let the naysayers get you down.
