When I 1st got this power bank I was very impressed with it. Solid build quality, high capacity in a relatively small size, fast charging my Samsung Note 8 as I'd hoped it would. Then one day I plugged it into my device after having it on charge all night as I slept but nothing happened. The power bank was completely depleted. Turns out the problem was with the micro usb charging port. It cad become loose. It will only charge if the usb cable is held firmly to 1 side. This is no use so reluctantly I've had to stop using it now as I can't trust it will be fully charged when I leave for word. Very disappointing.***UPDATE*** After writing my initial review Anker proactively contacted me to offer a replacement. They sent it out promptly and the new one is perfect. Occasionally products go wrong, regardless of the brand. What sets them apart is the after sales support. Anker have outdone themselves here and I will never hesitate to buy other products from them in the future. One very happy customer here.

This is great. It fits in my small bag and keeps its charge for weeks so everytime I've needed to give my phone a boost it hasn't failed me. The phone charges really quickly from this, as quick as if it was plugged into the wall. It is a bit bigger than I expected and is quite heavy but it definitely does the job. I bought it for a long flight so I can watch movies without my tablet dying and I have no doubt that it will do the job admirably.An update. I used it on a flight when my tablet was almost out of charge. Not only did my tablet work for another 4 hours flying time, it was also fully charged by the time I arrived. Love love love it. The sleeve it's in also has feel appeal.

A cracking powerbank. Powerful but light and reasonably compact. Fits in my back pocket nicely and will last at least a couple of days at least with my S9. Charges almost as quick as my wall charger when using the Qualcomm port. The only grumble I have is that it would be nice to have a USB-C port.

This is a brilliant portable charger.Brought it for a trip abroad, to keep a four year old ipad mini charged during a 5 hour flight with no onboard entertainment system, and it worked a treat. Also kept my iphone charged during the flight, and landed with both the ipad and iphone fully charged, which you know after a long day travelling is a life saver when you get to your destination.Ive also used on a 4 day camping trip in the north of Scotland. True life saver. Ok, you can charge your devices in the car, but its not always practical to sit in the car running down the cars battery to get charge every time you need a top up. I was able to keep my phone charged the full 4 days, without needing to plug it in to the car. Also slipped easily in to my rucksack on climbs, and enabled me to take all the pictures i wanted, safe in the knowledge i had back up power should i get low for an emergency.Never needed a power bank before, but i dont know how i lived without one now. Really, so practical, and it goes everywhere with me now.It is a big battery pack, and it does have some weight to it as others have said. But this is a big pack, and if like me, you’re buying it to charge an iPad several times or to have the convenience of knowing you can easily do a 4 day camping trip and not have to worry about where the next plug socket is, then it is worth the extra weight and more.Big, robust, and powerful. If this is what you’re after, this is the one. Truly awesome bit of kit that will not disappoint.

I bought this power bank in January 2019 and for many months it was perfect. I loved that it gave me the option to fast charge my phone and it also gave me the security and peace of mind as I was no longer charging my phone overnight or leaving it plugged in too long. The beauty of having this power bank is that you can take it with you everywhere (perhaps a little too heavy for pockets) and you don't have to worry about not having enough charge in your phone. I have taken mine for short trips away and never needed to charge my phone with a mains plug. It is also helpful for commuting and long journeys when you want to charge your kindle or other devices. I have several Anker products and have had other power banks by Anker but this was the best by far.I am sad to say that I thought it would last longer as early this year around February/March time this power bank started to take forever to charge. It used to take around 5-6 hours to charge but now often is still not fully charged after being plugged in for 10-12 hours. Sometimes it appears 'fully' charged after 1-2 hours but then seems to drain very quickly. Even with the cable it came with sometimes I can plug it in and for some reason it isn't charging at all. I can still use it to charge my phone but I am not taking it away with me as I can't guarantee it will charge my phone enough and it takes too long to fully charge the power bank.I must admit that I don't know how long these power banks are supposed to keep operating as well as they do from new but I thought it would last more than 12 or so months.I would have given five stars but sadly feel that the issues have let it down.

A superb product, which should be more than capable of powering even the most hungeriest of devices, the titles true it can do more then most wall chargers.This should easily cover even the power requirements of a nitendo switch and charge it (which I intend too do after Christmas)Charges my iPhone 7 (with smart case) (2.1A total) and girlfriends huawei phone at a speedy rate and hopefully it’s capabilities will be extended too switch.This even includes QC 3.0 re-charging, perfect if you have a compatable charger. Unfortunately i miss understood what my 40w 5 port charger had, Having Ankers IQ charging capability does mean it charges slower then if it Was connected to a true QC 3.0 charger (be interested too see how it performed on the best charging possible)Value - 10/10Capacity - 10/10Charging output - 10/10Recharge rate on standard chargers - 10/10Recharge rate on QC 3.0 - —/10 (untested)
