Great laptop whist it worked
Bought this back in 2017 for £1600 ish to live stream and edit video which it handled easily. Fast forward 2 years to 2019 and the laptop would just freeze after an hour or so - no blue screen or errors in the log just freeze. This was something I put down to maybe software crashes or other. Mid-2020 it became more frequent to a point now it's minutes.Replaced memory, SSD and tried a full system restore which failed due to the freezing and still the same. This then points to either motherboard, graphics card or CPU.Contacted CyberPower who obviously have to go through the process of warranty and checking but the unknown could have easily put the repair if not from them the manufacturer at silly prices.Overall happy with the laptop when it worked but not happy with a laptop only lasting 2 years before errors occurred. With it been a laptop it probably made it harder to repair locally and will opt for a desktop in the future just in case.

Unpack, turn on and go!
Took about a week to arrive, but that’s about standard for a constructed computer. Well packed and arrived undamaged. Sent via DPD so was told roughly what hour to expect it, so didn’t waste a full day. Took it out of box, plugged in charger, but was already fully charged. Turned on, Cortana active so didn’t even need my glasses to setup internet connection. Dialled up Occulus setup, and went through process uneventfully. Answering the door to swimming with VR dolphins in less than an hour.A week or so on, no problems have arisen. As with a machine with so much grunt, it runs routine programmes with ease. Blender renders run a little slow compared to an equivalent desktop, but these are heavy duty computing so this is no suprise. Games wise, I only play VR these days. However for this it is excellent, they run as well on this and occulus as a PC with Vive.
