It works great for masking, cuts really nicely, and the dispensers are incredible. Just don't leave the tape on paint any longer than you have to. My latest build was a 1/24 scale Tamiya Porsche Turbo. I had cured my base coat (Tamiya Lacquer - Italian Red) in a dehydrator at 120F for 5 hours then another 5hrs at 120F after my clear coat (Mr Color UV Cut III Clear) and when I left this tape on overnight after painting my window trims, the clear coat on the car's hood and roof was chemically affected by the tape somehow, it looked ruined. I was able to wet-sand it out with 2000,3000,6000,12000 then polish with the 3 step Tamiya compounds to the point where you can just barely see the damage if you know what to look for in a few tiny areas near the front bumper. Don't do what I did, take the tape off as soon as you are done painting.
