I spent an hour reading reviews, questions and answers, and product information and still did not get that this unit will not charge your compatible laptop unless you plug your laptop's charger into the device as well.The docking station plugs into power but won't charge your laptop.To get power to your laptop, you connect your charger with a USB-C connection to the docking station's port number 6. You connect your laptop to port number 7. Now it will charge.My laptop needs a modest 65-watt charger. I found one here https://amzn.to/3cLijrS for $25.99. When you consider this docking station, you need to consider whether you want to acquire another charger to create a truly functional docking station.Ultimately, I concluded that this unit's price and features are still the best option for me.

Exactly what I wanted. Great product. It does have a bug to where my monitors will blink off and on randomly. It’s not too annoying to deal with but it’s there.

Where to begin? With dex, my phone was a pretty good mobile computer. With this, it has transcended.3 usb ports, 2 storage slots, even without the HDMI functionality, this would be an excellent product. It staggers me that the name brand docks that this one is competing against cost so much more and brings so much less to the table.There is only one thing that bothers me. I am cautious when docking and undocking because the USB-C that plugs into the phone does protrude further than is comfortable, and is the only attachment point for the device. The hinge on the stand could be reinforced much more. Both of these issues could be solved with the addition of a spring clamp to hold the phone much more securely.I have recommended it to multiple people in the brief time that I have had it, and don’t think I can overstate how much I like this product.It would be interesting to see an IOS compatible version, though I know Apple is less than friendly to alternative peripherals.We’ll see how it holds up in the long term, but at this price point, even if it fails in a year or so, as long as my phone is alright, I don’t think I could complain.

I loved the product but returned the first and almost the second when the hdmi ports suddenly stopped working. After much frustration I found another review for the same issue who was on his third. The unit needs to reset by unplugging all power sources including the connection to the computer. That instantly fixed the issue and I am back to being very happy with my purchase. Hope this helps others

Fits my fat S20 case = CHECKHas all the connections I could want on a docking station = CHECKRuns WUXGA (1920x1200) resolution = FAILI was hoping beyond hope, this would run WUXGA, alas, no joy. If I had a 1920x1080 monitor, this would probably be my go-to dock. The official DeX Station dock does to WUXGA, but it's not made for cases so I end up using a USB-C extension cable. This Baseus dock here would've been the perfect replacement. Alas, like so many other USB-C connections/hubs (with HDMI) for Samsung DeX (I've tried a LOT), it doesn't do WUXGA. Besides the Samsung DeX, the only other device I've found to run WUXGA is https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NSX4KM9?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details , this one is 50/50 if it works the first time, or if I have to reboot my phone and then it works basically 100% of the first time after a reboot.

I have been through numerous USB-C docks avoiding spending a small fortune, while avoiding the branded horribly rated Dell docks. This thing so far is awesome. Works fine without the power source for the HDMI, and USB communication. I plugged my Dell power pack into it, and no low power warnings!. One gripe I do have is the upright stand which is lose on the base, and there aren't any rubber footings if you want to lay this down horizontally, which was my intention. I am trying to hide wires, not show off everything I have plugged in with this standing up.Functionality AMAZING! Quality Control could use a few pointers. I was able to use one of the sticky rubber grip pads, and an HDMI angle adapter so that I could slim things down a good bit.Worth the buy, especially compared to others on the market, and especially better and more functional than the Dell brand USB-C docks. I haven't tried this with my MacBook Pro. To Be Continued...UPDATE: So, after using this thing for a few days, I have decided to reduce the star rating.MacBook Pro (16" 2019) ~ I reread the page to see the dock duplicates a second screen with a matching third screen which totally defeats the purpose of buying a second one, I would call this Mac incompatible and call it false advertising even with the disclaimer. It is worth noting even though I am not using it, this dock did not provide the 96watts charging provided by the block. I did not bother searching for what it was providing, but I did receive an error of insufficient charging.Dell XPS 9575 ~ After testing it for a few days using the factory provided power adapter, my laptop is receiving less than 60watts, while this is enough to maintain the charge under lite duty use, booting up anything strenuous sends the computer into a bios safety mode for power consumption (required 100watts, suggested 130watts). Also, I have noticed intermittent connection loss with my Logitech keyboard and mouse. The last issue I have noticed is Ethernet speeds are capped at 225mbs (tested on multiple devices and getting speeds of +950mbps). So, I am keeping it because it does still work better than most I have tested, but there is significant room for improvement.My recommendation, keep shopping. Spend the money and buy an actual Thunderbolt3 dock, I splurged for my MacBook Pro, and bought a much less function dock, but I get 3 screens (including MacBook screen), USB 3.1 (with attached hub 3 USB 3.1 + 2 USB-C) and Ethernet with speeds of +950mbps. The search continues.

O produto chegou em perfeitas condições, acompanhado de cabo USB C para USB C e espaçadores para encaixe do celular com o conector. Não testei todas as funções (como a porta HMDI, portas USB e SD) mas o que me deixou decepcionado foi não suportar carregamento rápido (meu celular é um S9+ e da minha esposa um S9) e não carrega rapidamente (provavelmente o dock não suporta quick charge). A fonte de energia é uma anker com porta PD (como mencionado no manual - que por sinal é muito pouco explicativo quanto as especificações). Tive outro problema mas parece que sumiu, é que mesmo bem encaixado no dock, o celular às vezes não carregava. Tinha que tirar e recolocar algumas vezes para que ocorresse carregamento no celular. E uma coisa que me deixou intrigado foi quando fui testar no celular da minha vizinha (que é um motorola, não lembro o modelo), o aparelho simplesmente não carregava.

En la publicidad y en la descripción prometen que funciona al 100% para Macbooks, inclusive se puede ver una imagen donde conectan 3 monitores a una macbook lo cual no funciona como debería. Me quedé muy decepcionado de este producto porque yo quería tener 3 monitores en modo extendido y solo te deje tener un monitor extendido y los otros dos te duplica la imagen. Los puertos sirven bien con la macbook, pero solo eso. Cabe destacar que intente hasta instalando los drivers de "disportplay", por si de casualidad funcionaba eso pero no (el hub no tiene displayport al parecer, aún así hice la prueba).No todo es malo, debo reconocer que para windows funciona muy bien, se pueden conectar 3 monitores a la laptop y a pesar de que se laggea algunas veces, creo que se puede trabajar bien, sin embargo yo no lo cobre para usarlo en windows por lo que regrese el producto.

Estou usando por duas semanas com o Moto G200.Utilizo para dar aulas, cerca de 8 horas por dia, com a câmera ligada.Fica conectado com um monitor, com o carregador e com a conexão sem fio para o teclado e mouse. Pelo celular, os fones bluetooth.O Celular não esquenta, e mesmo com a câmera ligada, fica carregada nos seus 100%. (No Moto G200, configurei para que a bateria reconheça que ficará conectada enquanto utilizo).O carregamento é mais lento mesmo, estava preocupado se a bateria iria diminuir, mas deu certo.Quanto à conexão com o teclado e o mouse, sem problemas até agora.Satisfeito.
