Sehr geehrter Österreich , das sind die Vereinigten Staaten. The O Whiskey glasses are too big for spirits, like whiskey, even with ice cubes. These water glasses are at the upper limit of size to serve spirits but since they are so sleek, thin, and elegant they will do just fine. So... the water glasses are good for whiskey and the whiskey glasses are good for water. These glasse are very square from a geometric point of view and although they make a reasonable wine glass they are not really what anyone would call a wine glass. If you want a small wine glass try the Riedel "spirits" glass. (i.e. not listed as a wine glass by Riedel). (Whew) For the record: The Riedel Coca-Cola glass makes a great beer glasses... There has to be some person in marketing in Austria who has a problem with English nomenclature.

I never thought I'd leave a review for drinking glasses, but I have to for these. I'm so glad bought these glasses. They are light and fit nicely in the hand. When you are drinking water in these you can see clearly through the bottom of the glass and your vision is not blocked. They offer simple yet elegant, clean lines and would fit in well in a modern/minimalist kitchen. I love drinking water in these.The glasses are light and on the more delicate side, so not the best choice for households with children. For the rest of us these are wonderful!!

I had orange juice served in these glasses at a B&B we stayed in and I just loved them and had to have a set! They are delicate and when the kids put up the dishes, I just cringe!! But so far no casualties. They just feel and look superb.

Unfortunately these are not the quality I was expecting. The bottom of the glasses are not crystal clear as I expected from, well, crystal. They have imperfections and swirls and are blurry if looked from the top. The sides are fine and as expected but for the price I am disappointed in overall quality. At least now I won’t be terribly upset when they break.

The glasses are very thin, which makes for a great drinking experience. I realized at some point a few years ago that drinking out of a thin glass makes a big difference in enjoyment -- you get a perfect mouthful every time.After doing some research on Amazon, I bought both these and some Libbey glasses, which were half the price. The Riedel glasses are clearly superior. The Libbey ones are OK, but the Riedel glasses, in my opinion, are worth paying more for. Because of how thin they are, I'm careful with them -- I've only hand washed them at this point, and am deliberately gentle when I set them down. It's possible I don't need to be so cautious, but I'd like to keep them around for a long time! If you have young children in your household, the Libbey glasses seem sturdier (but is also why they are not as enjoyable to drink out of).The Riedel glasses are so thin, you *almost* feel like you could cut yourself on them. (Not that they are sharp or painful in any way; just describing the thinness!)I also bought Riedel H2O Whiskey/Double-Old Fashioned Glass, Set of 2, which are essentially the exact same shape as these, but I prefer the whiskey glasses because they're about twice as tall. These smaller ones need to be refilled more often.The reason I'm giving this product 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the level of condensation that forms with ice-cold drinks. It seems to be far more than normal. Coasters are a MUST with these glasses if you like to put ice in your drinks. And even with a coaster, a big enough pool of liquid forms at the bottom that I actually need to sop it up with a towel, or it threatens to drip off the coaster and onto the table. Still, if that's the price I have to pay for such a great glass to drink out of, I pay it gladly.

But I quite like them :)

These glasses are fabulous. It actually creates a truly unique drinking experience and almost feels like there is nothing between you and the liquid. I mostly use them for water on my bedside table and there is just something about the feel of the glass and liquid in the morning. Also pretty dishwasher safe which was a huge surprise to me.
