So far durable and strong
Made in chinese is not good, but the bar is strong and tough for scraping and prying. There is not substitute for separating materials in the least invasive method possible. The sharp straight end can be pushed into small gaps and the leverage can be used to separate materials without damage. It is a precision demolition tool, but also strong for pulling and levering. Used on a project this weekend to separate parts that had been pinned together, and also for removing a ledger board from a concrete wall. It worked very well for both tasks, and I can't think of a better tool to use for those purposes. It is the perfect size for demolition due to the gradual slope down to a fine edge. You could also easily sharpen it even further with a belt sander, but it would become dangerous to hold in your pocket, as it could cut or tear people and materials. I would recommend this thicker version because it is much more stiff. If you were working with more delicat materials, a thinner blade might be useful, but for the vast majority of tasks, this thicker bar is superior.

Not just the best. In a class by itself.
As a carpenter and handyman there are a few tools that I can't live without - Irwin Vicegrip Groovelock pliers, Little Giant style ladders, Milwaukee hydraulic drive impact drivers, and Red Devil bars. They are mill finish so if rust is a concern, buy the black version. It is a very good tool. Or spray it with something like WD40 and wipe it off before putting it away if it will be sitting for a while. If you use it regularly rust will not be an issue. If your hammer rusts, this will rust. If your hammer doesn't rust, this won't. I saw one review saying he received it with scratches and dents. Driving a good drill bit into it with a hammer might leave a little ding (or maybe a mark) so I am thinking he is talking about a different product. I did actually break one in 2008 by trying to pry up a 3'x3' section of sidewalk, and I realized that there wasn't actually room to pry it up in that fashion. I sharpened the broken end with my grinder and still use it as a backup. So I can't say that it's unbreakable, but I can say that you can use it under extreme conditions without worrying about it. We don't have the technology to make anything as thin as a Red Devil bar that is literally unbreakable. For all practical purposes, it is. If you do something like use it to burrow through a 2x4 with a sheetrock screw it by beating on it with a good-sized hammer, you might nick the tip and need to resharpen it with your grinder and it will be good as new. There aren't many scraping tools out there that you can beat on with a hammer.

These prybars are tested and built to last out in the real world. Will be buying some more for my coworkers

Top notch quality
I've bought probably 13 different brands of trim pullers, broken and bent every single one, besides this, it's sturdy enough for and job, big or small. I install doors and windows, sometimes I have to pry up on 200+ pound windows to add shims to level off, this handles it like a piece of base. I use it to scrape old sill sealant, I replaced my 3" floor scraper, the tapered edge helps me get in/under near anything. Best price for a tool of this quality, and the quality is better than anything else out there. Kudos to Red Devil for producing such an immaculate tool

Almost perfect for install work
Used for setting vinyl windows- lifting for shims, racking, or just to hold the side of the frame to retain the window in the opening while a helper screws the window off. Great for the application; my only quibble is that the 45° surface has a broadly rounded bevel, which makes it difficult to get behind material that is slammed to the framing. If you can handle grinding that edge down to a straight bevel, this is a perfect prybar for installation.

Must have trim tool
This trim tool works wonders in all the ways it's intended. It even works great scraping old caulk off baseboard for installation.

Best prybar ever
I have used these prybars for 30 years and have never broken one. I have stood on them to raise material and it did not break. They quit making them for a few years and now they had such demand for them. They brought them back. I never broke 1 but somehow they com up missing. Lol
