Good Value & Clean Power, Easy install
I chose the Soundstream ST4.1200D running my front and rear mids/ highs separates (Hertz brand) to replace a JL Audio JX 400/4D that was cutting in and out and producing static. I've had good experiences with Soundstream amps in the past and after reading many favorable reviews decided to give them a shot again. The stealth series is super convenient if space is an issue, and will easily fit under a seat, glovebox or rear deck of a car. I was surprised at how small it was due to it being Class D & the type of wiring harnesses it comes with. I used the supplied RCA to wire plug adapter since my existing system used RCA cables, and hooked up to power, ground and remote turn-on (if your using speaker level inputs you can do without the remote wire). It has LP/HP crossover switch but I'm running it full range since my head unit has crossover and EQ built-in. The manual shows a wiring schematic but did not include individual wire colors in it so I simply looked them up online (They are standard colors, same as almost every speaker wire out there, White, Grey, Green & Purple with negative having a black stripe). I initially turned the gains to halfway point, but after testing, volume was too low, I had to turn them all the way to max for my particular system. Sound is clean, clear at both quiet and loud volumes with pretty low noise considering my gain is at max, noise is less than the JL Audio it replaced. More expensive amps will have screw lug terminals and jacks integrated into the chassis, whereas the Stealth uses wire harnesses for all inputs, outputs and power, so butt/ splice connectors will be needed. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and would buy this amp again.

Great amp for my Harley
Installed this in the fairing of my 2017 Road Glide. I paired the amp with some JBL speakers. The system sounds great, no static issues, and was easy to tune. I can easily hear my music doing 80 down the freeway! It has been installed for 1 year at this point, with no issues.

Not worth the savings , buy name brand
I really wanted to like this amp. Looks clean installed on a Harley Davidson. Fit perfectly above the head unit. When I turned the system on it started cutting out. It stopped so I thought maybe it needs to be adjusted. I adjusted the gains and adjusted the head unit levels for base and treble. I thought I had it all figured out. Rode to work and even at low levels it would clip. Weird thing was it did it on some songs but not all. I had the volume at maybe a 1/4 of the way up. Not sure why it was doing this the day I installed it you could crank it up pretty loud with any song and it sounded pretty good. Really disappointed I contacted the seller to find out because I bought it in February but didn't install it until this last weekend I have to deal with the manufacture. When I was younger I installed for a living so I know I did everything right. Save yourself some time maybe not money and buy a name brand unit. I now have a paper weight and I will need to do most of the work all over again. Just to add to this I should have stopped when I noticed the gains and the top controls were all crooked in the holes like a cheap amp. They make a static sound when you turned them. I really went off the other reviews and they were saying this thing is impressive. Honestly if you get the gains past a 1/4 way it sounds all distorted. I know this sounds correct but at that point not even as loud as just using the head unit. Hope this helps anyone out there. Maybe if you buy more then one it might work. Try it before the 30 days.Update, I got no response from the manufacturer. I finally tried a low lever converter. You need to get one that has the amp turn on. I bought the recoil brand and guess what it sounds pretty good. Zero clipping. Haven't taken it for a ride so hopefully it doesn't change. Still leaving the 1 star. No help from the seller or the manufacturer. Obviously the high level inputs on the amp suck
