Great to use on smaller multi-conductor cables
Have used this stripper on a few projects now, is very handy for smaller multi-conductor cables. There are two sizes two remove outer cable sheathing, the style of the stripper allows you to feel when sheathing has been cut through to help avoid damaging wires inside. The wire stripper section of tool works great on wires with softer insulation ( sensor/actuator wires, MTW, data cables ). The wire stripper is sized for metric wires, so not perfect but works very well. Wire stripper probably not robust enough to use regularly on building wire ( THHN etc ), but works ok. Only real drawbacks to this tool are the cost and being sized for metric wires, otherwise a fast and effective tool.

The BEST wire stripper for small gauge
I do a lot of wire stripping of small (22 awg) wires and these are by far the best wire strippers I have used. They seem expensive for what they look like, but if you do a lot of sire stripping, don't hesitate to buy. They'll also do cable jacket stripping of a few select sizes of jackets.

Great tool for electricians who use a lot of cable
I saw this on a TikTok. I work with oflex multi conductor cables and cat6 cables. Works great on AB and Phoenix contact brand cables that have the M12 connectors. As we often have to strip those as well at my work. Way better than having to take a knife and go all around to strip along section of cable for some leads. I'm an industrial electrician and we work with cables a lot so your use may vary in other fields. I can attest that it does work great on stripping large gauges of MTW when you're trying to make a termination. Cuz usually don't have strippers that are big enough past 8 AWG And then you got to pull out your box knife but with this what certain sizes it can cut those and strip them as well making it very efficient and quick connections without having to nick any copper.

Super stripper
This is a fantastic tool. The wire stripper is effortless and intuitive, as it should be. Removing sheathing from multi strand wiring is also a breeze. While this tool doesn’t do every job, the things that it does do, it does well. For me the best part is removing sheathing without fear of nicking the the interior wires with my clumsy hands. . I’m no sparky, but this tool certainly makes dealing with wiring less of a chore.

Yes! It’s worth the money IF….
Yes! Def stop wondering and get it unless you’re doing a one time project or only plan to use once every couple months BUT if you work with shielded cable, (eg: 22-2 mic wire personally) cat5e or Cat6 often THIS THING IS AMAZING! I’m sure it’s wonderful for all other types of wire as well based on its performance and variety of options/wire sizes that I don’t use.I was on the fence for a while until I finallly had a job running 25-30 mic wires, 9 speaker wires, almost 20 Cat 5e’s and 4 Cat 6 runs. After getting it in the mail I played around enough to become familiar and then timed myself preping 3 mic wires and 3 Cat 6, both ends just as I would in the field. I was able to do it in slightly less than 50%of the time it used to take me (partially bc clean up is easier due to it catching the trimmings of wire)Make sure you get the correct model! There’s a left hand and a right hand version…it matters!
