Works Great But make sure to tighten cap
I have purchased a bunch of these over the years and they consistent bring my TDS down to 0 for my RODI water supply. Make sure to double check the caps as they sometimes come delivered untightened and can leak after installation

This did the job that it was intended to do.
This did the job that it was intended to do. I already had a RO system installed, but I plan of using it for fish in the future. My tap water is 120 on the meter (Florida hard water) and after RO ystem it's about 4-5. After flowing through this filter with DI resin, it goes to zero. Not really important for drinking water, but good for fish. I imagine if you used this with just a simpler water filter, it would improve your water more, but the resin would be depleted faster. It did come with two clips to attach it to one of the "polishing" filters on top of the RO system. which is a nice touch.

Leaks on both ends on connection points
Definitely works. Also Definitely leaks on both connection points. First one I ever bought so IDK. I'll buy another in a few months and see what happens. Hopefully no more leaking??

Works Perfect, Great Deal!
Exactly as advertized, I replaced all the filters and this membrane on my RODI and have zero PPM water, I waited 3 months to do this review, I use about 10 gal of RODI a day and I am still at zero PPM

Good filter
If you follow the instructions properly there are zero issues with it. I have been using it every few days for weeks and it’s just now starting to turn color. It does say in the instruction booklet that if your water is particularly poor the filter will not last nearly as long. It also specifies deductions based on certain chemicals and production based on water temperature. I do wish the kit didn’t have such a high volume of waste water though.

Works well, though needs instructions and a better description; this review includes a few installation tips for others
Overall, this is a good product. It lost half a star for having no instructions, half a star for the first unit dying unusually quickly, and a full star for being incorrectly described in the listing. Beyond these issues, though, it works well.First, the units I received were not green, which is important because the unit's coloration is how you know if it is still good or needs replaced. The units I received were both blue/black, as you can see in the photos I uploaded to Amazon. The listing, when I bought the items, did not say anything about there being different color models; it only discussed a green model, and I wanted green anyway for aesthetic reasons. The only reason I discovered blue/black was a second model was by going to the company's site and looking through several documents there. The listing should accurately describe what you'll receive. Hopefully, by the time you read this, it will be updated.Second, the unit came with no instructions. It didn't say which end the water should enter and which end the purified water exits. The answer, by the way, is water enters the bottom and exits the top, which you can see from the documents on the company's website. The unit also has a particular kind of tube seal that is not obvious: there are white baskets sitting in a hole, you push the basket down and shove the tubing into the hole, and then you pull the basket part up and clip a blue U-shaped clip on. That part was easy to figure out.How to remove the stoppers that are in the basket when the unit arrives (and how to get the tubing back out of the basket) was not obvious. If you just pull and pull and pull on the stoppers, nothing will happen. If, however, you simply push the basket down and then, while holding it down, pull the stopper out, it's really easy to remove them. Same with tubing: push the basket down, pull up on the tubing, and voila, done. Finally, my unit turned brown (the color that the black/blue ones turn when dead) exceptionally fast. Within a few hours of use, I had a mostly brown unit. You can see that from the other image I uploaded. Amazon sent me a new unit, though, which was amazing (as Amazon customer service always is).Beyond that, I love this unit. It's a great price and makes the amount of water I expected. My water hardness is way down from using this unit, and my fish tank is very happy. It was easy to install and put together with the main Aquatic Life unit. The few questions I had were easy to answer by going to the company's website and finding a manual (which should be included with every order, but wasn't for either of mine). One last word of warning: be sure that you don't put this somewhere that has high pressure. Or, if you do, make sure you buy tubing that can handle it. I put mine in the wrong place on a solar water heater and the pressure was too high: it blew a hole in the tubing I bought and leaked quite a bit. However, I just changed the tubing, reduced the pressure, and it has worked fine since.Overall, I recommend this unit to others. Just be advised that you might not get a green unit, and go straight to the company's website for instructions if you need them. Otherwise, this unit works well for me.

Add DI to an existing RO
I bought this to add DI to an existing RO (hydrologic stealth ro 300). it easily keeps up with the flow, my RO is reducing my incoming water from 400 ppm to under 10 and the di filter is reducing it further to zero. Not 1, not 0.1, Zero. it works great. I got over 100 gallons through my first filter, and im using it to feed a 20 gallon tank that i can store for car wash water. one issue i had was that my water pressure in my house was not consistent and the system was backfeeding through the DI filter and using it prematurely. I added a check valve to combat this. Really its only an issue for me because i have a pressurized tank on my output side. The filters are also refillable if you would like to reduce costs.
