As our grandson grows like a weed, I'm happy to help out by replenishing his winter wardrobe with quality outerwear. I won't waste my money on trendy name brands, though. Eddie Bauer has a well won reputation for being a good name and the quality of this jacket bears that out. Workmanship is excellent and zippers etc. are smooth. The hood is well designed--it doesn't stand out styling wise but fits well when it's up. A good and fairly priced choice.

Got this for my son for his first hiking trip and at 11 years old, being cold was one less complaint that this solved. Keeps your core warm even though the temps got down to the 30s (below 0 for the rest of the world). The jacket is super lightweight and easily stuffed into side pockets or a stuff sack. The price is way less than some other down jackets and the material seems the same. Fit my 11 year old, who is about 4'8" (around 142cm) which matched the size chart perfectly.

My 12 year old picked this jacket out for the fall and winter and loves it. He likes how light weight but warming is it. He has worn is over sweatshirts and did not complain of it being too tight or restricting as a top layer. It's easy to clean too!For reference he is 5'3 and 95lbs.

This jacket is very well made and can be used for any weather. The insulated quilted puffer provides good warmth. The zipper is smooth and easy to put on. This is light weight which makes it convenient to wear for longer hours. This runs smaller in size. I ordered it for my 14yr old son, and the sleeve length is shorter.Overall a reasonably well made jacket.

I own every size they carry and all 5 of my children wear these JACKETS not coats….. This isn’t a coat. It’s a lightweight, jacket. My children enjoy looking like a little team of bright blue walking in the chilly air to the park. I buy them because they can pass for outdoor playground time in our winters here in NC. They have pockets which my 3 year old was thrilled to discover when she got into her first size of these a few weeks ago, and the quality of the jacket is very good. It’s thin so not warm like a coat but good enough for our needs and my children can throw on a sweater under the jacket if they need it. Zipper is fantastic! It fits well and each child can wear their actual numeric size. It’s a cute jacket and I can always easily identify my kids when we are at the park because the blue is so bright. I love them! Price is a bit high, but they are great!

The product itself was fine. I orderd two and the smaller size for one of my kiddos arrived as expected - new, clean and with labels attached. The larger size came clearly worn. It wasn't lightly dirty. It looked like the previous owner had rolled around in mud. There was even a little suprise in the pockets - a whole clump of used tissues. Of course I was travelling so you managed to find a sucker to keep the product because I needed it. Had it washed thoroughly and it is fine, but I did pay for a new item. Also, not to mention that I paid extra to have the items be delivered overnight and the delivery was delayed - clearly the shipping costs were not retroactively adjusted. Bummed - expected better.

Kid loved it and wasn't too heavy. Material is kinda weak for kid active life style. Ripped pretty easy. Kept him warm. He stayed dry with it getting wet. Fit was good for the size. Zipper was smooth and easy for kids to use.
