Snappy, Quiet, and Powerful for its Size!
Great computer under $500 - Thunderbolt 3 compatible for EGPU use or external monitor, is quiet under load, and even without a dedicated GPU can handle a surprising amount of gaming (only held back by intel's drivers for some games). It does not run hot at all, and has been nothing but a joy for my wife. The only slight bummer is the soldered 16 GB RAM, but let's be honest, unless you're doing some crazy video editing or photoshop work, more would not be necessary. We bought the 512 SSD option, but it is upgradeable and even has a second slot for another SATA drive. I can highly recommend this to someone looking to upgrade their PC setup to something smaller but still with a lot of power to boot. Obviously this will not compete with the latest and greatest systems, but it's not meant to. And if you're thinking of gaming on it, definitely check if the game is compatible with Iris XE Graphics before purchase.

Cool little power house.
I bought this for a retro gaming console and it works really well. Some of the ps2 games struggle a bit with frame rates with large areas. So open world games on the newer retro emulators might be a buzz kill.
