Good kick pad and hardware
I train in karate and this has worked well for certain kicks and not putting too much lateral pressure or torque on my knees. It gives good feedback as well. A little spendy but it has a bunch of hardware so it can be mounted. You can also opt not to use the hardware and have someone hold it while you kick or strike it.

Great addition to my martial arts training equipment!
This item is a great value for the money! The quality is much better than expected. It is also designed in such a way that many of the parts are easily replaceable if needed (kicking pads, clamps, straps, etc.). I love the ability to adjust the angle of the pads. This makes it easier to practice combinations, such as high/low spin kicks. The ratcheting straps are much more secure than a buckle or velcro. I was able to attach it my heavy bag in only a few minutes. After several hundred kicks, straps have remained in place and have not slipped at all. Overall, I am very happy with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality kicking pad.

Its ok but not on a floor bag
Its good to practice and the straps are strong to hold the pad. But the pads are too strong for even a heavy bag that is mounted on the floor. The strap squeezes the bag so much that there is a chance to tear the bag. But even if it is this tight, it can slip. You really need a static hard structure to hold this thing.

No.
Too small and it makes too many noises.

It performs exactly as advertised. The price is good also.
The media could not be loaded. I have 37yrs in martial arts. 6th Dan black belt in Tae Kwon Do and I also teach and train Muay Thai. This product works just fine. I attached it to my Muay Thai bag. I already knew it was going to spin on the first kick, so I put some thick towels underneath my bag preventing it from spinning. Their is another company that has something a little similar but their price for 1 is higher than the price here for 3 paddles. These are very adjustable which is nice. It took a little bit of time to get all 3 up the way I wanted them. If for some reason they move, you either need to tighten them or you are kicking incorrectly.

Mostly versatile... mostly. Great for solo training
The media could not be loaded. Love this kick pad armature... thing. I solo train quite a bit and my wife can't hold onto (or hold high enough) the slap/kick pads I have. I was working with a friend at the kwoon trying to come up with something that would allow for solo training, without damaging whatever apparatus we came up with to hold the pad. This device fits the bill *almost* perfectly. The good:+ Quality materials+ Two tensioners for the elevation lock (I feel one wouldn't have quite cut it, this configuration allows for balanced tightening)+ The strap is plenty long+ The spring is strong enough to keep the arm rigid, but gives enough to keep you safe when usingThe 'could be better'- The strap and the metal bracket are thin, which lends to the arm pulling down on the mount bracket into whatever surface you have it installed on. A square or rectangular plate at the base would help with this.- As others have mentioned, you need the right sized surface to mount this sucker. A more adaptable mounting system would be beneficial (I would like to be able to mount to a square post, for example), but I understand this method is probably needed for stability and to keep the cost down.In the picks I have it hooked up to my heavy bag. I wanted to set it up quickly and play with it. The bag, of course, gives rotationally, but sufficed for a quick 'see how it feels' (yeah, just playing around in the vid... was still fun though). I placed some rubber sheeting under the mount bracket and strap to protect the bag. It actually works pretty well and I will incorporate it into the occasional bag workout for some variety. I have since tried it on my mook jung and it works wonderfully (have to take all three arms off to be safe).
