I love these. I have used them for at least four years. They tend to wear out after a while and new ones are needed, but the life span is reasonable for the heavy use I give them. They keep the wine nicely. I have had reds at room temperature for a week with no noticeable change though usually I open a bottle one night and finish it the next using the V-Gauge. They are reasonably priced particularly when compared to other wine saver devices.

these Stoppers fit the V-Gauge vacuum pump. They work great however they wear out over time. The rubber around the stopper section wears out and comes off so the stopper will no longer hold a vacuum. I have had a pump for over 4 years and replaced both stoppers twice.

Purchased a set of two V-gauge stoppers One does not work at all the other one fits better but does not work as well as the two we got with the original.

I like it. Used it with red and white wine. Works fine. It shows you how much to pump. It will keep vacuum for a week or so. The wine is preserved only for 3-4 days though. After which the wine will ferment and the taste will alter. NOTE: pull the little cork in the middle all the way up BEFORE pumping the air. Otherwise it won't work!

These don't hold for long enough, making them useless. I would say the last batch I bought held for a few hours before breaking the seal.

To be fair in this review, I am actually Lisa, John Coons' wife - My husband and I are wine lovers, but sometimes cannot finish a full bottle of wine. I have used V-Guage stoppers for years with reasonably good results - BUT - this batch is NOT good. I initially thought that perhaps the rubber needed to "break in" by softening a bit, but hey it's been over 2 months and these do NOT hold at all. Air simply slowly leaks out of them within a matter of an hour or so. Frankly these are awful! I should have kept all the packaging, etc... but because we had used V-guage before I was sure they would be OK. Never again!! Don't waste your money!

I have a V-Gauge pump, but lost the one stopper that came with it. The new ones I got are even better than the original that came with the pump. They create a tighter seal and don't lose their vacuum seal. I've kept one on a bottle of red wine for 2 weeks and the pressure gauge never moved. I looked for the stoppers in several stores and checked several .com retail sites before finding exactly what I needed on Amazon for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend the V-Gauge pump and stoppers over the plain stoppers that don't have the pressure gauge.

These stoppers are great, I originally bought the kit which had a pump with one stopper. It has a gauge that shows when your loosing pressure. I was happy to find these spare stoppers for extra bottles that I've opened and not finished.

EXCELLENT
