I love these pens. If you don't want to see the paint scratching and flaking off from everyday use, get the titanium or stainless steel model. The same applies if you intend to carry it in your pocket every day. Titanium has the perfect weight and is super sturdy. If you like a heavier pen like I do, go with stainless steel. Anything with color is aluminum. Aluminum is good for a display or desk pen. These pens write absolutely wonderfully. The only time I have any issues is when writing on the top edge of a Post-it, where the glue from the previous Post-it leaves glue residue.

The Bastion Slim Bolt Pen in stainless is very well made. There is have to it. The width is roughly about the same as most standard pens. The quality and craftsmanship of this pen is much higher than standard. When writing with it, you feel like you riding with something special. I think if it dropped on the floor, it would dent the floor it’s made that well. I may need to try the titanium one just to say the difference in weight.This is a very impressive pen!

I absolutely love this pen. I also own one other, the aluminum body of this one makes the weight a little more manageable. It writes easy and doesn’t skip while writing. I work in a steel mill so it has been very durable so far! Sits perfectly between my thumb and finger and hasn’t hurt me hurt. I only wish they made a finer tip ink cartridge.
