Madden Girl Women's Getta Pump

At first I wasn't sure about these shoes. I normally wear a size 9 and my feet are kind of wide. I listened to other reviewers and bought an 8.5 Wide. When they arrived, they fit, but they were way too wide in the toe area. I was contemplating my decision on getting the 8.5 instead of the 9. There was no way I would have kept them because they were not comfortable at all and my toes were slightly sticking out at the top, BUT... I remembered reading another review and she said to heat the shoes up with a hairdryer and then put on a pair of socks and wear the shoes around for 5 minutes or so while wiggling your toes and flexing. So, I thought I would give that a try. HOLY COW, that worked like a charm. I don't know how I have gone this far in life with not knowing this awesome tip. I doubt the reviewer will ever see this, but THANK YOU if you do because this tip was awesome and now, I can keep the shoes because they fit perfectly. They are wide enough in the toe area now, and they fit like a glove. No movement on the back of my heel like I get with some of my 9's... So glad I tried out her tip because these shoes are nice looking and now very comfortable. Now to test how long they are comfortable...

Some years I collect heels, and other years I purge heels. Somewhere in the mix, I forgot that I love Madden Girl pumps, and I forgot that I never bought a pair of plain black high heels. Amazon to the rescue! A friend inspired me to buy platforms and I only agreed to buy if I could find platforms that were not obnoxious, and these are perfect.First, I fell in love with Getta's simplicity. Second, I fell in love with the price. After choosing black out of practicality (I need them for a gown that I am wearing in a few months), I combed the reviews for sizing recommendations. Big thank you to the ladies before me who recommended a half size smaller! My narrow size 8 feet fit perfectly in the 7.5 pumps. In the near future I will be wearing these all day for a special event, so I am breaking these in now.I have learned that the shank is nice and sturdy, I feel and appreciate their support. The toe box fits my feet well (my skinny feet are easily compressible and my 2nd and 3rd toes are both longer than my big toe), so I do not need to stretch them out. The heel is solid and doesn't feel like it is going to snap from under me. The vamp is a little short, and I don't like seeing toe cleavage, so I will just keep my feet off of the banquet table like a normal adult. The toe is upturned a little bit, and it makes walking very easy and comfortable. The sole's traction is minimal, but not slick, just use caution if you're not used to the soles. Otherwise all of the stitches and constructive details are well done, nothing seems to have been overlooked.I am very pleased with these pumps, and have already purchased a second color.A longer vamp would be nice, but it's not a big deal. I look forward to buying a third pair.

The picture does not do the color justice. These are much more coral than the picture suggests, which is great. The color, I think, would be flattering to any skin tone, but especially for someone with some real color to their skin (I am fair complected but do tan up in the summer)What I do have a problem with is... I ordered my size, an 8.5, and they are very large in the heel area. They are almost like a wide-width shoe. I've had the same problem with BCBG brand shoes and a few others in the past - they fit length wise and in the toe box, but for some reason they slop around at the heel. However, I think the next size down would be too tight at end of a long day, esp in the summer when its hot here. I'm simply going to buy heel inserts and call it done. I like them too much to send them back.Like other's here have noted, mine, like theirs', did come with some small imperfections and indentations. You really have to look to see them and as my dad always said: If someone gets that close to notice and has the sand to say something about it, kick them in the rear for it. :DGiven the price, I can overlook the very few tiny flaws these have.All in all, a gorgeous shoe, worth the money, but be aware of potential sloppy heel fitting.

I work in an environment that basically requires heels. I wear 3-4" heels 9 hours a day, 5 days a week. I thought I'd worn some uncomfortable shoes before but no... even my worst pair were like walking on clouds compared to these. They seemed ok at first but by the end of the first day I noticed some hot spots. I thought maybe they just needed to be broken in... nope! Long story short I now have the start of a bunion and a small cyst on my Achilles from these shoes. I have replacements of another brand on the way then these are going in the trash!

I've decided that bright blue is a good color for me. I have some great blue wedges for summer, but I wanted closed-toe pumps for winter. After looking at dozens of pairs, these are the ones that stood out to me. They had the look and heel height I wanted and the price was right!I'm pretty happy with my purchase. I find that these fit fairly well, although they're maybe a half size too big. (I can live with it -- bigger sizes in heels are usually a little more comfortable.) For reference, I ordered a size 7 and size 7 shoes generally fit me just about perfectly. I love the hidden platform; it adds some height but the shoes are still easy to walk in.These are cute and well-made and I think the color is better in person than in the picture on Amazon. (You can Google the shoe name and find better pictures elsewhere, although the Amazon price is highly competitive.) I did not see any flaws in the stitching or in the faux-suede surface.The uppers are a tiny bit stiff, but that's often true of new shoes. I don't find the toe box to be too tight, but I can see how someone might think so -- it fits snugly on me, but isn't uncomfortable.I expect to get a lot of use out of these. Definitely glad I bought them!

Good quality shoe but slightly larger size than stated

These are three inch high heel pumps that come in pure black in glossy finish. You easily chose your size online since the brands has UK sizes that fit as expected. The pumps look really smart, chic and are instantly likeable because of their solid build and are well balanced when worn.Since, Steve Madden uses a different variety of leather, these pumps have slightly tight and hard leather which will take its time to loosen and take shape. It also means that it will not go lose, get wrinkles or lose shape easily. I received the product in Madden Girl box, just wish there was show bag provided with it. It's important to keep these heels away from dust since it might pick up scratches easily. I bought this pair from Amazon at 50% discount for Rs 2250 against original floe ice of 4500/-These go well with denims dresses. These are a must have black pumps.

PROS: The quintessential black patent pumps by Steve Madden. No surprises for design and quality, both were quite top notch. I was pleasantly surprised by how easily I could maintain my balance while walking in these 3.5 inch heels (because I usually twist my foot/trip awkwardly in high heels).CONS: However, sizing is really an issue. My feet size is a 5.5 UK, I find 6 UK to be most comfortable especially when wearing pumps. Even though after reading the reviews here I bought 5UK size, they were loose and I had to add an insert for it to fit well. Even then the left shoe felt a wee bit loose.VERDICT: Size aside, this is a shoe worth having in your collection. I bought this for Rs 1350, which is a steal.

Love the shoes, but they do fit really big. I ordered 6.5, which is my usual size, but these fit closer to a 7. I read the reviews about them fitting big but was hesitant to order a smaller size. Wish I had. I added some heel inserts and they do help a bit, at least I can keep them on my feet. The toe box is pretty small and they are far from being the most comfortable. I picked these up for a good price so I’m not too upset.

I am usually a size 6 and these fit almost as expected but were just slightly big. The first time I wore these was for a graduation where I had to stand for ~2 hours, then walk about a kilometre, then sat for ~2 hours. By the time I was sitting I had some mega blisters on my heels and it was very painful. They do take time to break in but I have now worn them about 4 times and I did not get a blister the 4th time.
