Perfect replacement hood
The good on our John Deere cracked. It was still usable but my husband did not like the look. This item was a perfect fit to replace the hood and looks fantastic ! Color is a perfect match and it was very easy to install.

Pricey, but an exact fit
Very well packaged and protected. High priced for what you get. (hence 4 of 5 stars) The outer surface came with a plastic scratch shield that peeled off. Installation was literally as easy as unscrewing the old (cracked and broken) cover and screwing this one on. Fit and finish is 5-stars. I did not buy the (separate) adhesive John Deere graphics as they are obscenely expensive (paying for the John Deere name).

Ordered this hood for a GT235...fit was as good as original hood. Quality seems to be just as good as OEM. Delivery was very fast for this item received it in four days

Made my old mower look like new.
Installed this hood on a 2001 LX277. It fit perfectly and install with just 4 screws. Looks great. Keep in mind, this is just the top section of the hood assembly. I am happy with the purchase. And the price was right.

Like new again!
This fit our 1998 JD LX277 AWS perfect! Our original hood cracked down the middle over time. My husband went to our local JD store and they acknowledged that the hoods are known to split. Their quote to replace was a ridiculous price. So we checked around and found this replacement at a reasonable price. It arrived quickly and was easy to install. Our tractor looks new again and in my opinion looks sleeker without the JD stickers along it!
