Nice and compact, perfect for truck tool roll
I bought this mini hacksaw to include in my truck zombie apocalypse tool roll. It's small enough and fits nicely with the other tools. I made a simple sheath out of matboard and tape... you know, to protect the canvas tool roll in case everything jiggles around while I evade and escape from rampaging hordes of zombies in my truck. Maybe a little overkill, but just trying to think ahead and check all the boxes.I used it to cut a metal sliding door track and it performs just like a any other hacksaw; but you do need to be a little careful not to bend the tip of the blade which extends past the armature. Not a big deal if you're careful. The blade is held in place by a screw and nut which clamps it against the armature. The handle is large enough to cut somewhat aggressively and very comfortable. The included blades work fine, though like every hacksaw blade they'll eventually wear down. I bought a replacement 10 pack of the shorter blades to include in the tool roll. This saw is a lot smaller than a standard hacksaw, which is a definite bonus for a truck zombie apocalypse tool roll. It is very solid and should last several zombie apocalypses. In my efforts to prepare my truck for any scenario dealing with the undead, this mini hacksaw can be used to cut metal fencing to allow for escape. With enough diligence and a little elbow grease, metal fence posts or any random bar stock can be angle cut to form a spear to contend with charging zombies at a distance. This is good because the chance of contamination by flying zombie juices is far less.I would never use this or any hacksaw itself as a defense against an attacking zombie. That would be unwise. The most important thing is to avoid zombie cooties at all costs.Prepare yourself now, while you still have time.

Lightweight and easy to maneuver
I'm absolutely thrilled with my Dark Helmet Mini Hacksaw! I've been using it for a few weeks now, and it's quickly become an indispensable tool in my small workshop. The compact design is perfect for my truck tool roll, and the durable build quality has withstood even the toughest tasks.I was a bit skeptical about the smaller size at first, but this little saw has proven itself to be just as capable as its larger counterparts. It's lightweight, easy to maneuver, and cuts through metal with ease. I've used it to cut through thin wood materials, stainless steel wire shelves, and even metal fencing - and it performed flawlessly every time. The included blades are a great touch, and the handle is designed for comfort and control. I've found myself using this saw more often than my larger hacksaws, simply because of its convenience and ease of use.If you're in the market for a reliable, compact hacksaw that won't break the bank, look no further than the Dark Helmet Mini Hacksaw. It's a game-changer for small workshops, tool rolls, or anyone who needs a trusty sidekick to get the job done.

Short stroke length but very effective.
This is a great little hacksaw for small jobs in tight spaces. I used it to saw through the bolts on my suitcase's old spinner wheels so that I could replace them with new wheels. The support arm means that you will have a short stroke length: don't expect to be able to use the entire length of the blade. This means that my project took a little time, but this saw really got the job done. Nice product, would definitely recommend!

Small but mighty
Cut through brass piping to make my gallery rail. I’ve used it a bunch of times and it’s sturdy and much higher quality than I was expecting (I thought it was going to be junk tbh). Comes with an extra blade. Totally recommend!

Very Productive little saw!
THis litle saw has gotten me through some huge jobs!! I first used it to replace my 1.25" steel plumbing drain pipes in the basement. It cut through those steel pipes just fine!! Of course it took about 30-40 minutes per cut, and I made probably 5 cuts total - replacing my three drains with PVC pipe. I don't have any Sawzall piece of equipment and didn't want to spend $200 to get one. Besides my work area was tight in some of the cuts. I took my time and used this little saw and got through it. Here's a photo I took last year, and it happens to show the saw in the pic. Look at how corroded in the inside of that steel pipe is!! This was from the bathroom sink. Only a trickle of water was able to wind through the rust and debris. No wonder a snake wasn't able to go anywhere. I then cut the PVC very nicely too with the saw. It comes with three blades, and I still have two blades. I've used it elsewhere in necessary conditions - I cut some metal fence that was oressing on a tree thats growing big.

handy saw for small jobs and for tight places
This is a handy saw for small jobs and for tight places. The handle is excellent, a good solid but comfortable grip. Construction allows for adjusting blade length and will also accommodate longer hacksaw blades if needed. Very good quality at the price. Used it to saw through ring shank nails while disassembling a pallet. Stood up well to the work.

It did the job I bought it for. It is sturdy. It came fully assembled. Win Win Win for me!
I ordered this small saw to cut some approx 1/2 inch dried bamboo sticks. It worked really well, wish I could say the same about my measuring skills.I didn't change the blade, it came with one on, and two spares. The unit is sturdy. The blade was fine enough to smoothly cut through the bamboo shoots and leave a decently clean edge. Thicker blades (or deeper teeth) would have have been too rough, so this is good for cutting smaller items where you need a bit more of a cleaner cut. I did try it briefly on cardboard, but didn't really like it for that use if anyone is wondering. I think it would be excellent for small wood projects. Possibly plastics too, but I didn't try that.I didn't find anything to dislike. It did the job I bought it for. It is sturdy. It came fully assembled. Win Win Win for me!
