This is aquarium safe. Gel glues made from “cyanoacryLate”are what you’re looking for. Look at any reef glue ingredients and that’s what you’ll see. If it has anything else in it, avoid using it.

Will it glue crystal?

Thank you for the question. Loctite Super Glue Gel may or may not be well suited for use on crystals. Loctite Glass Glue is the more suitable product however, the pieces must fit perfectly together without any gaps. The success will also depend on the amount of available bonding surface and the amount of stress assembled pieces may be subjected to.

Will it work in a rattlesnake rattle?

Loctite makes the BEST super glue, HANDS DOWN.

I have been a die-hard Krazy Glue user but have made the switch to Loctite. When a store I was at was out of Krazy Glue, I "settled" for Loctite as I had something I really wanted to get repaired and I didn't want to make another stop.Product worked very well - no complaints. Here's the reason for the switch. For months thereafter, every time I used that same tube of Loctite, it was like I was using it for the first time. I cannot tell you how many tubes of super glue of various brands - including Krazy - that I have had to toss out long before they were used up due to them drying out and despite my attention to detail when sealing and storing them. I actually used an entire tube of Loctite - not a drop left - before discarding - and placing the order I am reviewing today.EXCELLENT PRODUCT. Wish it hadn't taken me so long to discover it but I am really glad I eventually did.

What went wrong.

The media could not be loaded. Received package un opened, but found out the glue was dried up when trying to use it. Went to open it up to see if any of it was usable and half the package was just air and the glue all dried up. FYI you will only get half what you paid for if you ask for a refund. However you get to keep the product, even though it’s trash.

BOTH TUBES EMPTY UPON ARRIVAL

I just received these today. When I went to open the seal, it was impossible and felt as if the glue inside was already dry. I cut the back end off of both tubes only to find that they were both completely empty. Absolutely no glue inside them. Waste of time and money.
