*.*.* Show your love for classic horror films with this painting of Bela Lugosi as Dracula*.*.* I couldn't do a vampire based series without including a piece inspired by Bela Lugosi's portrayal of Dracula. Dracula is synonymous with vampire in western culture. Even people who have never seen the film are familiar with the image. For this work, I wanted to use sepias, blacks and whites to replicate the look of black and white films. I also wanted to add a graphic element along with a sense of movement, thus the red accents and splatters. This work is 5x7 and was created by using acrylic paint on canvas board. This work comes ready to hang in a black plastic ornate frame.
