Eurolux Percolator Coffee Pot: How to prove it's made of stainless steel? The metal parts do not rust, or turn color (stained-look). The metal stays shiny and clean. This is made of stainless steel, inside & out. Mine is several years old, and looks almost new.

Q: Where can you buy the filters for the Eurolux 12-cup percolator coffee pot?

DANGER!!! The coffee pot is not crafted in a way that you can use a filter!!! Somehow it builds pressure and will burst out of the top, spraying boiling coffee in all directions. We discovered this while camping, and in a small place it could've been worse than just a mess, had anyone been in front of the stove. Works fine without filters. Yes some grounds get into the coffee but letting it rest a few minutes after perking and pouring slowly, very few end up in your cup. I do repeat, DO NOT USE ANY FILTER IN THIS COFFEE POT!!!

I looked and looked, finally found the answer on the same Eurolux coffee pot on EBay that says it's made in USA. It's a really nice item, we love it.
