SPRINGS LABS Phytoceramides only has 40 mg of the Phytoceramides. LIFE EXTENSION that I had been using has over eight times as much, at 350 mg of Phytoceramides. I cannot reorder the LIFE EXTENSION product because their Phytoceramides are from wheat and I am on a Gluten-free diet.SPRINGS product also is high in Vitamin A @ 5,000 iu. It is not advisable to take vitamin A routinely as it is fat soluable and the excess isn't excreted by your body but retained and can become toxic. Medical advice recommends instead that you take beta carotene instead which the human body uses to make any vitamin A that it requires and excretes any excess easily and readily.SPRINGS have also included vitamins C, D and E which I routinely take and select carefully according to certain guidelines which this products eliminates. Therefore that addition is unneccessary and disliked.I like the veg caps and the fact that they maintain that their Phytoceremides are Organic, but frankly I wonder if it really is organic since nothings on the label quarantees their organic status.
